I have never been able to understand why Gatland kept picking Priestland for the No.10 and especially why he let him do any goal kicking when Halfpenny was on the field. He was mediocre at best.

If I remember correctly Priestland took that kick because Halfpenny took a big hit in the tackle that led to the penalty. Was 8 years ago mind.
