Salt and Sauce is a reference to Edinburgh, where Rockstar is based. Unlike the rest of the UK, where “salt and vinegar” is the default for your fish and chips, in Edinburgh you’ll be asked if you want “salt and sauce”. The sauce is like a mix of HP brown sauce and vinegar. Obviously in the UK we have salt and vinegar as crisp flavours, but not salt and sauce, so the inclusion in the vending machine is obviously a little nod to the local delicacy.

I think GTA 5 still holds up 10 years later, ignoring the nonsense that is the online portion of the game. The only real gripe I have is that the FOV in first person is limited between 45 and 55 degrees, which is laughably pathetic compared to any other FPS game which lets you go all the way up to 120 in many cases. Also there are a few inconsistencies with the interiors. In Michael's house, the skylight seen above the staircase is nowhere to be seen from outside the house, and in the Life-Invader office, the door to the cafe leads to right where the staircase should be. It seems that whoever designed the staircases in a few of the interiors really did not care about consistency.

It's weird to hear him talk about how "It's so strange, just walking around the town as a normal person, aimlessly" when GTA-RP exists. That "Mode" was made specifically because people got tired of GTAOnline's constant power creep and wanted to return into a simpler, more grounded reality, where they participate in gang wars and drive with proper traffic. There's also a LOT of stuff in the game that are easy to miss, like how you'll hear a trumpet playing at sunrise near the military base. Or all the animals you come into contact with out of town Edit: I also love how well they've depicted Mike's house as its own character. Sure it's nice and ideal. It's not "Their" house, it's been given to them by witness protection. Tracy isn't just a girl with pink in her room, she's a valley tramp. And Jimmy isn't just a gamer either, he's a pathetic no-life who tries to suck up to Franklin because he thinks being a gangsta' is cool. Edit2: You didn't mention the WTF bar, so I will. That is my favorite location in the game, maybe except for Mt.Chiliad. I love when a restaurant has a gimmick, and a bar that serves weird alien food is SO up my alley, I would 100% go there.
