I think if we assume that the people in villages are getting water (a safe assumption unless dialogue in game states that they are struggling, I feel), we can assume food is similarly available, at least in markets if none of the ground cover in areas you can reach are food, at least as salads or through tubers. Seeds are a really good energy source too, basically being plant eggs, so things like acorns if there are oak trees around can be important, assuming they grow acorns in the seasonless world of Hyrule. Unless we say that gathered food needs to be explicitly visible. But you can give Epona carrots, right? You must have access to them some way or another, even if you have to buy them off the rancher or something

18:20 in Super Mario Eclipse they actually expanded on what Corona Mountain looked like originally. It's not canon but it's really interesting. It was a long hall called the fire shrine. And it wasn't all lava. It had lots of stone columns. They made it appear as though the lava filled Corona Mountain stage is a destroyed version of the fire shrine after bowser got there.

I like the form of this content, but it's missing some things: - Villagers talk about the local bandits, giving you your first non-quest "quest" to kill the bandits and free the prisoners. This is a gentle introduction to CRPGs, where you do things because it fits your character's role, not because it checks off your quest list. - There are five more quests that relate to Seyda Need, two of which start from Seyda Neen itself. I can understand blowing off the Siege of Firemoth, but Vodunius Nuccius is a quest that beginners are likely to encounter. - As other folks have mentioned, the Silk Strider is the first encounter of Morrowind's fast travel, which was a significant departure from the map-based fast travel of the previous (and the future) games in the series. - I've seen it mentioned in other videos that there are a number of interesting items hiding around Seyda Neen, like the Frost Battle Axe by the lighthouse. While not necessary, these would make the deep dive truly definitive.

If you play Super Mario Eclipse you finally can slide down that hill into Rico Harbor. They made all the levels even more connected than they ever were.

Traversing is such a hard one. I’ve never played 64 but from the clips and what I’ve seen from other games the traversal could be anything from a 1 to a 4 depending on the person. As someone with decent stamina who loves to hike, explore, and rock climb this place looks super easy to get around, so long as those rock textures aren’t just textures. Let’s just say from experience I know that this would be a 1 for some people

Fantastic video idea. I'd be glad to watch a whole series on each settlement. I've been playing the game since 2004 so I know it like a back of my hand, but it's always a pure pleasure to listing to vids like that, analizing and noticing little things, building up the atmosphere of the location.
