On the Red Eagle sword being bad: I'd like to point out that you can't really go by memory on that stuff. The backbone of this list is Requiem, which is to Skyrim what Horizon is to Fallout, so it completely changes the rules. One big change makes unique items a lot stronger stronger than they are in vanilla. For two-handed builds, there's a very nice one you can get as a reward for doing the quest for the Primeval Orc Daddy, Malacath. You can pick it up in Largashbur, a stronghold near Riften.

iirc melee swings while mounted are always power attacks but don't take as much stamina, which is why they do so much damage and are so slow. I think you can swing on the other side of the horse with the block key? Vanilla skyrim ofc, but it doesn't look like its changed

You can indeed swing on the other side with right click, but my brain just.. has issues with this for some reason when I'm playing in 3rd person on horse. I did it just fine in first person but from 3rd my brain just can't process it lol.

I like this some ideas about this wabbajack. All the extra crafting is more fun watching than doing myself. I like the tougher bandits a lot. I have a 'lore friendly' bandit mod, in the beginning kinda sux because the bandits were all wearing clothes of their former trade, merchant, miner and what not. They hit hard but die very easy. Now, around level 20 they are about half in armor. The only good thing is that if you get overwhelmed, you can take out those in clothes pretty fast. Hope they keep getting better as I level. Great lets play, glad to see you in Skyrim!

If you gain spell absorb, you get a chance to absorb magic damage. You can get it to 100%. When a spell is absorbed, you take no damage and gain magicka. Meanwhile magic resistance reduces incoming damage. It has a cap of 85%. But you can compound it with individual elemental resistances which also max out at 85%. For example you get hit with a frost spell which deals 100 damage. With max magic resist of 85%, it gets reduced to 15 damage. Then if you have max frost resist of 85%, it will reduce that 15 damage to just 2.25. Dragon shouts, magic traps, poison are all considered spells by the game so this applies to them. You can get magic resist early by taking the Lord stone blessing and doing the Dibella quest in Riften. It's gonna be useful against dragons.

Heh, as you walked up the stairs in the Falkreath watchtower, I thought to myself: "Isn't this the tower where there's a... _BLAM_ ...yep, it is." And yeah, the Khajit was reanimated by that necromancer. Also, I _think_ spriggans can summon bears and other animals.

Loved watching playthroughs of UltSky when that was the most up to date mod list from Dylan Perry, and I am loving watching this series too! Wish that more people did content based around this list and other Wabbajack lists. Maybe it is out there and the KZbin search function just wants to hide it from me lol

With mining you don't have to use the animation you can just hit the rock with a pickaxe like a weapon, it's a little faster.

hey a tip for reading out loud is to read in your mind every sentence ahead of the one you are speaking, doing this allows you to see break points in the sentences and allow you to stop at opportune times rather than in the middle of a sentence, it makes things a lot smoother to listen to

My issue is that I lost about 50% of my vision in my right eye. Wonderful diabetes complications. It was better for a while but now it's getting worse again and I need to start going in for injections again soon. Just sucks. Insurance only pays for part of the treatment. I've done so good in the past 8 months, I thought with such a stellar A1C (5.1) and getting my blood pressure down and exercising more I wouldn't need to worry about it but that's obviously not true unfortunately.

I don't know if the mod is up to date or still around it's been like 3 years maybe more since I played Skyrim. But since your doing the survival thing there was a mod I used to use it added about 200 random locations just little caves and alcoves and off the beaten path locations ment for camping they aren't put on a map and were ment to be discovered naturally as you explored. Some locations are empty some might have a bandit or wolves living in there. I think it was called hidden locations Skyrim or Hidden alcoves Skyrim something like that but it was a staple of my hardcore survival runs.

Idk if it's still in this mod list but halted stream camp is just nnw of whiterun if you can clear the bandits there was a tome of transmute ore. Iron to silver to gold best use for iron ore in the game.

I mean its totally possible to field dress or work small game in 15-20 mins if that. Rabbits have thin skin, so you can just cut a small hole and then pull its hide off, then removing the internal organs. Really quick and simple

I've actually done squirrel, rabbit, and deer myself. Squirrel was my first I think. I remember being shocked at how easy we removed the skin. Dad made a few cuts, he told me to hold onto one end and he pulled on the other and bam, there went the skin.

The amount of times I got killed by that particular frost spell will always be a bane to my existence. Seriously it's the only spell that will always kill me and is extremely difficult to counter. I can handle every other spell but that one. What is up with that one. Mages spam it like it's a minor spell.
