Some short sections of purple pipe have been laid around the factory. 17:37. Far north. Gilbert Road. Tidying up the Sanitary Sewer Force Main works. Unrelated to Tesla. 18:54. Far north. Sandifer St. More of the Sanitary Sewer Force Main works. 19:12. Far East. Length of green sanitary sewer alongside a length of black HDPE pipe. Black pipe likely the Sanitary Sewer Force Main. Presumably there is an existing Sanitary Sewer gravity drain in the easement. 21:34. Tesla Road, east. The former Martin Marrieta maintenance workshop now also evidently owned by Texas Concrete (Texas Materials), as is the larger batch plant at 22:08. Information from @forwardthinkingtrucker, longtime occasional youtube commenter. 22:44. Temporary Batch Plant. This plant may still be operated by Martin Marietta. MM concrete trucks still seen delivering around the site. 23:42. Casting, east. Baghouse. More Baghouse equipment being staged. Couple of items installed on the low framework near the crane. A hopper unit closer.

Thanks for the tour! I remember thinking Elon was being his usual “optimistic” self when he described how the property was going to be an ecological paradise, but I can see it now. There’s so much forest and waterfront. And that huge lake. Plus all the reclaimable land once all the contractors leave. Wow. I wonder if they’ll start a program to transplant some of those mature trees for landscaping around the factory.

Dear Joe. Super interesting to see, that the multilevel parking garage is ready. We all know that there have been some lay offs lately, but this one signals to me, that Tesla is expected to hire much more staff soon. Otherwise this huge garage makes no sense. I figure, that together with the extention of the parking space close to the finish line building, everything is getting ready for a ramp up in production, never seen before. My guess is that the new models will be revealed allready on aug. 8. Whether it will be the Robo or the compelling compacts, thats going in production in august we shall soon find out. I also noted that the new parking lots are a bit too small for the cyber, which I believe is a deliberate decision. “The compelling half price compact, is going to create a demand exceeding all other models combined” Elon said a year ago. Per in Denmark 😎🇩🇰

It would really be a nice touch for Tesla to keep track of the VIN numbers of those Model Y's that formed the Texas Flag. Not to make more money, of course, but rather perhaps to make small Lucite desk plaques to keep and ship with the cars for the lucky future owners.

Interesting to note the addition of a solar array at the local power plant since I last saw it in a video. I wonder if they use it to offset the high cost of natural gas during electricity peak-demand periods, or if it is just to cover their own energy needs. In a way it's kind of surprising that since they have a reasonable amount of spare land surrounding the built infrastructure of the power plant, its owners don't deploy a much larger solar system to assist with increasing their profits; sunlight comes free, natural gas & water don't.

@DessieDoolan Yeah, that's a definite possibility. What makes the size of the array it even stranger, is that even in Texas, a staunchly committed O&G producing State which deploys some of the highest levels of renewables in mainland USA, their oil refineries use VAST quantities of renewables, either their own or PPA purchases, because it's simply so much cheaper, thereby increasing profits. You'd think that even a small power plant such as this would seek to do something similar for the same reasons.
