@@holybleachbottle8318 Once you get the Scanner room operational, you'll find it is power-hungry. The nice part is you can put a Hatch on one side and a pair of Solar Panels on top. You can then use the Scanner room for basic storage and construction. The two Solar Panels will cover the Scanner Room's power demands when the sun is up, so you can find stuff nearby. Adding extra Solar Panels to store power for night-time scanning is a good idea. Each Solar Panel will need 2 Quartz, 2 Titanium, and 1 Copper

@Electrodoc19683 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips. I thought it worth mentioning especially if you don't have the battery charger.. Not only does the Power cell recharge. If you have a flat battery, take it out of the item, MAKE SURE ITS THE ONLY BATTERY YOU ARE CARRYING..! Then get 1 piece of titanium to construct a scanner tool.. the fabricator will then use the flat battery to construct it, charging the battery in the process.. Unload the battery from the scanner and chuck the scanner in a bin or overboard.. Costs 1 piece of titanium. :)

Also, if you need magnetide and lithium and you dont have the seamoth to dive deep, just swim or use the seaglider to get to the alien base thingy. Keep walking past it until you reach a trail that leads up. At the top you’ll find an entrance to a cave PACKED with diamond, magnetide, lithium, and gold. Keep exploring and going deep, I swear it never runs out of materials. On a side note, if you are swimming all the way over there, make sure to stay at the surface cuz it’s mad scary.

Guys I wanted this game since I was a kid but once i got it , I was too scared due to my the thalassaphobia , so is there any tips or helpful advice you could give me?!?
@richardgodivala46802 жыл бұрын
I have thalassaphobia - mainly about deep water (which is funny, cos I'm a good swimmer and I enjoy it - but when the bottom is more than about 3 meters, I have a real issue, especially if it's murky.) In this game, start by moving about in the shallows. Exiting via the bottom of the pod is easier than jumping off the top (which I did to begin with, not realising there was a lower hatch!) Get used to being in the shallow water, finding small useful things and don't go over the deep bits until you're more comfortable. It will get easier (at least, I have found it so.) I'm some 15 hours in now, and I've become able to drive the seamoth down to 300m, and dive another 100m or so below that, into the dark (with the seamoth floodlights showing me the sea floor.) It does take time to get comfortable - and the leviathans still freak me out. Saw a Reaper, and swam away as fast as I could....
