I think it would be a neat weakness of the fruit, is that if you actually use the full form, you turn into an actual immobile statue with even stronger shock waves. You could still use the shock waves via telepathy or some sort of ghost hands and turn back at will, but using the half-form is the only way to move.

I think this is a reference to the Buddha in journey to the west. The first part of Sun Wukongs journey deals with his literal going on a tear through heaven (marineford or a representation of the world govt) and then the Buddha shows up and punches down on Wukong and it becomes a mountain that he cant escape and its starts the next part of the journey. And in one piece the Buddha literally punches straight down on him and then we have the next part of the story (the new world) This is probably all speculation but I like to think it connects

Maybe the full beast form is more like a genuine statue. You sacrifice mobility for durability and can protect others around you with a shockwave. Who knows when it comes to awakening. Considering how the model daibutsu is a mythical zoan, it'd make sense that Sengoku has abilities that he can access outside of his transformation. For example, Marco was able to use his Phoenix powers without fully transforming, or in the most recent example, how Luffy was even able to use his rubber abilities to such an extent that he never even knew it was a mythical zoan. Therefore in hindsight, i'd say that a boost in intelligence and foresight would make sense for Sengoku.

Isn't that the fruit that lets you store things in your body? And i think it lets him melt through objects which it's unclear if all logias allow that. And i wouldn't be surprised if it provided immunity to drowning in the same way ace's fruit provides immunity to fire but i don't think that was shown and perhaps it's better to drown than be immobilized at the bottom of the ocean. I think it largely depends on what he has stored in his body. Our only example just used it to kidnap, which is valuable, but there's so much more to be done with that power. If i were him I'd probably go for siege weaponry, cannons, trebuchet, ballista, things that are normally impractical to transport because of their size but you have on hand the right tool for the job for any job. And you can afford that because of your five-finger discount. For day to day non-pirate life this might be one of the most useful. Just having various tools on hand, there's lots of times i wish i had my laptop on me or some screwdriver or whatever but it's normally inconvenient to carry that much stuff with you everywhere. But this might be outclassed in that aspect by the castle castle fruit at the expense of the standard logia powers And when thinking of weak logias we must remember crocodile who has his weakness activate if his opponent gets blood on his fist- if his opponent that he's trying to kill gets bloody

Firaro my thing is that it seems to give the least amount of control over its given element. Every other logia we’ve seen appears to be able to manipulate their element with greater control, precision, and detail. Also I have doubts that the fruit can produce the same amount of its element that we’ve seen from other logias, based on the fact that franky was able to trap caribou in a barrel and he wasn’t able to just burst it open from sheer pressure. Although to be fair I’m not entirely sure if the things I’ve mentioned are the results of a weak fruit or a poor user. That’s why I’m looking forward to the encyclopedia entry.

Question: I know is not canon but can the user of the Goru Goru no Mi control Sengoku if he transforms himself? If it is possible it is a hughe weakness. Awakening: I think there is 3 possibilities for him: 1: "Standard" zoan awakening: Ancient Giant size. 2: Transmute his surroundings into gold, like King Midas. 3: Spiritual transcending - knowing all the knowledge of his previous lifes. What do you think is real? I don't know if the form what we have seen is the hybrid or the full "animal" form. But from the properties of gold he was -in both form- immune to acid, disease, corrosion and resistant against heat. (The melting point of gold is 1064,18 °C.) And it is very dense! So in full form he is so heavy, de he barely can move, I think.
