One of the things I like about Blackbeard is how opportunistic he is, he's only a man of action when the opportunity presents itself. He's also a very "I never accept a fight unless I know for sure I can win it" type of guy (which is funny when he applies this logic to Whitebeard and then gets completely wrecked because he severely underestimated how much strength Whitebeard had left), so what actions he'll take upon finding out what Caribou knows about the Ancient Weapons will be quite telling.

people are already discussing that suggestion, because it was not really confirmed, only implied. Oda is a little trickster himself and who knows what he might come up with at the end. maybe he confirms it 100%, or he changes it again or mabe he just lets this remain unexplained at all. Oda plays the fiddle and whistles the whistle and everybody jumps and dances around the "lightspeed". but in the end, this could just be another big artistic smokescreen of him to make the people go crazy and jump to conclusions who might or might not come true at the end. maybe it was an experimental device Vegapunk created but never completed - some sort of a food replicator. or the food just got teleported to Luffy from some other place. who knows the abilities of the Punk Records?

Counterpoint to the idea of Blackbeard not breaking into Wano after we spent so much time seeing it be liberated and growing a bit: Boa was real close to getting killed by Blackbeard himself. Plus we got a fair bit from Kid on Wano too only to see him get perhaps the fattest L in the series handed to him just afterward. I think the reason shanks went to wano WAS because of the poneglyph, but he didn't expect Blackbeard would ambush one of the 3 crews on winner island to get it from them. Blackbeard was 1 step ahead of shanks in this regard.

Kidd and Law are strong but their crews are at beast half as strong as the other Emperors top 10 and far weaker in terms of ships and numbers, having them each face another Emperor right after they had to team up to defeat Big Mom imo is poor writing. Blackbeard defeating both Heart and Kidd pirate groups at the same time would showcase just how strong they have truly become.

(Remember Kaido was going to do a sneak attack to Whitebeard's crew but Shanks stopped him) Not to mention Blackbeard going after Luffy right before they were shot up to Skypiea. We already know Blackbeard is powerful from a while back when they stated he took over Whitebeards areas without even using his devil fruits.

I have to disagree in the last part, specially with the new SBS info. I think that what will happen is that someone is going to destroy fish man island and Luffy wil go there to help (jimbei will be concerned too) and than Luffy will be blamed for destroying fish man island or will get there right before it being destroyed and Sharlie just misunderstood the prophecy (I don't recall any explanation of how the prophecies works, if so, she might just see the things and make her one assumptions

Fishman Island makes more sense as Shirahoshi is virtually defenseless, and there is no way her brothers or father can protect her from Blackbeard without help from another Yonko, the Straw Hats, or their grand fleet! The Cross Guild is more likely to go after Pluton if they can figure out it's location in Wano as Crocodile hasn't given up on his Operation Utopia and Mihawk is interested in Crocodile's idea of creating a nation, which Pluton was key to! Also, Blackbeard or his crew might end up causing Wano's defenders to rally against him! Also, Yamato is likely aware of Blackbeard's role in Ace's death. Thus, he and Tama would definitely have a bone to pick with him, and Yamoto was able to survive going toe to toe with Kaido, and could potentially awaken their Devil Fruit fighting Blackbeard's crew in protection of Wano as the Mythical Zoan Yamato wields is said to be the guardian Deity of Wano thus if Yamato defends the country it would match the will of their DF which based upon Kaido's statements is the recipe for awakening (Kaido's personality was unsuitable for the Azure Dragon) and the same applies to Momo who may be able to Awaken his fruit as well! Additionally, it's possible Sabo could get involved, especially if the Revolutionaries are aware of Pluton's location, thanks to Robin's intel! The Revolutionaries already have bad blood with Blackbeard, and the WG is likely aware Pluton is in Wano, given they were prepared to invade if Momo had chosen to open Wano's borders so the Revolutionaries could come to Wano's defense possibly along with the Straw Hat Grand Fleet and maybe Kuja Pirates as Wano is Straw Hat territory! Boa and Sabo also have a bone to pick with Blackbeard as well! Cross Guild could also decide to invade if they figure out Pluton is in Wano! Another possibility is Blackbeard steals Pluton, only for Buggy and the Cross Guild to raid Fullalead in search of Road Ponegylphs and possibly Captain John's treasure! Mihawk might help out Perona and Moria with them forming an alliance with the Cross Guild to avenge Absalom's death and Moria's imprisonment! They could also utilize paying the bounty on Garp as a smokescreen to infiltrate Blackbeard's HQ, potentially allowing them to steal Pluton, the Ponegylph, Pudding, and freeing Garp (possibly out of respect for Ace and cause Buggy recognizes he could be a powerful prisoner)! Buggy is often underestimated, and it would be cool to see him get a legitimate win! Crocodile would realize his dream to control Pluton and Perona's time with Mihawk would have some pay off, and Moria would probably love for an opportunity to get back at Blackbeard! Buggy could also potentially get the Charlotte family on his side by rescuing Pudding from Blackbeard! Still, Fishman Island is probably Blackbeard's best bet, and he's the type to target the easiest to deal with as he chose to attack Law & his crew instead of Wano likely cause he realized Shanks would stand in his way! Unless the Sea Kings can protect their Queen (Shirahoshi, the current Posidon Fishman Island) potentially with the help of the Sun Pirates (with Hatchan rejoining the crew), Revolutionaries (like Koala & Hack), Grand Fleet, Rosy Life Riders, & Rayleigh, Blackbeard would likely successfully kidnap Shirahoshi! Another possibility is that Vivi manages to rally Wapol, the Riku Royal Family, Elizabello II, Dalton & Isshin-100 to come to Fishman Island's aid to stand against Blackbeard! Still, there is a third option! Blackbeard continues with his plan to have Pirate Island of Fullalead, be declared a legitimate kingdom under the WG banner, using Garp and his knowledge of where the remaining Ancient Weapons are located as leverage to convince the Five Elders (and by extension Imu) to for the first time accept one of the Four Emperors as King of their own nation which is allied with the World Government! Mind you, this could all be part of a plan to get close to Imu as I believe Blackbeard's dream is the same as Rock D Xebec, to become the King of the World! A Yonko forming an alliance with the World Government is practically unheard of and would give Blackbeard quite the feather in his captain's cap! Some say the WG wouldn't cause they just got rid of the Warlords, but Imu & the Elders could find some way to justify it! Like Blackbeard Pirates fighting the Revolutionaries and destroying their base, his role in Ace's capture, and killing the weakened Whitebeard to steal his DF! This could potentially allow him to join forces with the WG in taking control of the remaining ancient weapons! York could also get the opportunity to study Pluton, and who knows, maybe she could utilize her newfound Celestial Dragon status to convince the WG to accept Blackbeard's offer!

Kizaru could’ve ran the food to Luffy or Van could’ve wrapped Luffy to where the marines found him (warping at the speed of light.) While having Katarina touch him before the left.

I see the 3 main powers using one ancient weapon each. Imu using Uranus Blackbeard using Poseidon Luffy using Pluton. All makes sense in some way: - Imu already used Uranus, so there's no reason for him/her/them not use again, just need the mother flame. - Blackbeard will probably use Poseidon, in a combination of illusion and hypnosis. - Luffy will be forced to use Pluton, because i think the time for The Thousand Sunny is coming to an end, and not only they know where it is, but they have Franky that knows how it works. The Sunny might be destroyed after a huge battle with Blackbeard, or even against Shanks of all people.

Here's my theory: I believe Blackbeard will get Pluton first. Reason being, he's associated with the Earth God from Skypeia, he's got "Earth"/gravity based powers with earthquakes and dark holes, and Pluto is associated with the underworld. After that, once news gets out that Blackbeard has possession of an ancient weapon, I believe Robin will realize he's targeting ancient weapons and is likely to go after Poseidon. That's when the Strawhats decide they have to get their ASAP to stop him and Madam Sharlie's prediction will come true and Luffy will and up destroying Fishman Island in the battle against Blackbeard. Once it's all said and done, I believe the ancient weapons will be split fairly evenly, Imu having Uranus, Blackbeard having Pluton, and the Strawhats having Poseidon.

I love the idea that Luffy will bring about the "Age of Freedom", that most of the fanbase is talking about. But I will throw my head in the ring and call that the Strawheads will bring the "Age of Union". Hear me out (and if grandlinereview should read this, love your work and a shoutout would be appreciated if I'm right): For me, the way that the world was downright split, had to be the sign that someone or somewhat wanted to keep people living on it apart in smaller groups that are easier to control. With all that separation gone, a lot of its weirdness should disappear. When the Red Line is destroyed (most likely in a war that may or may not be started by Luffy, but definitely will be ended by him), the Tenryuubito won't sit "above" the world, Fishman Island will be destroyed with it and its People will have a place and get acceptance in this new World (and probably its government). Changes of this magnitude will get rid of the Calm Belt and probably also the bonkers and downright fucked weather system that the Grand Line holds. All of that will give the People the freedom to traverse the whole world, a new way to connect with each other, the "All Blue". The world would literally become "ONE PIECE" (again).

Wano feels like the right choice for blackbeard for a number of reasons 1 Oda did say Blackbeard had an interest in history and Pluton is in what is essentially a vast ruin inside the bowl that is Wano (side note I really hope at some point we get at least a vague explanation for places like Wano and Enies lobby, one being a fountain in the middle of the ocean and the other a hole) 2 the image of Blackbeard breaking the wall behind the waterfall is awesome 3 doing so would cause massive disruption that Blackbeard could use to go in and take Pluton with minimal interference 4 Posideon/Shirahosi is arguable far less guarded, she is under the ocean and Blackbeard and all his important crewmates have devil fruits 5 Blackbeard doesn't have any way to actually force Shirahoshi to use her powers on his behalf 6 since Franky burned Pluton's blueprints having that be the weapon Blackbeard gets makes for a better story as the WG laments that they could have had that power for themselves, and Franky could use what he remembers from teh blueprints to help the straw hats fight back and 7 Him getting pluton sets up a 1v1v1 of ancient weapons, with Imu having Uranos, Blackbeard having Pluton, and The strawhats being friends with Shirahoshi/Posideon.

I posted this before finishing the video, so now I realize it could swap- with Leffite the Blackbeard Pirates could Hypnotize shirahoshi into using her power for them, and then we could have Pluton be the Strawhat's backup in teh ancient weapon fight via wano recovering it and coming to help, with Franky making it seaworthy. That does set up a story where teh straw hats have ties to every ancient weapon though, Franky is arguably the inheritor of Pluton, Shirahoshi is their ally, and they have Vegapunk, who built vital parts to repair Uranous is on their side. so the final battle could be them using Pluton to destroy Uranous and then destroying it while freeing shirahoshi, putting the ancient weapons to rest permanently before the actual final conflict.

We had it all but confirmed in recent SBS that Kizaru gave Luffy the food since Oda heavily emphasized whoever did it was at light speed making a point to emphasize light twice. It could be a Red Herring considering warping and light speed would look similar to the average person and Oda is hinting at Kizaru to obfuscate Blackbeard's goals since he's a sneaky boy doing things behind the scenes but Oda also really put emphasis on how conflicted and broken up Kizaru was during Egghead and it really could just be Kizaru saved and fed Luffy hoping they would escape since Sentamaru and Vegapunk were close to Kizaru but the Strawhats were the ones trying to save them and he is uncertain about what to do know. I hope they continue with Kizaru's arc I can see him joining the revolutionaries once he finds out Vegapunk's not actually really dead

i would argue that Pluton would be the better choice for Blackbeard - just for fighting Uranos on a (probably) similar level. Shirahoshi / Poseidon would be a terrible choice for him and only grant him a quick downfall and defeat. Shirahoshi would be more suitable for anarchists, nihilists and other susi-cidal maniacs who just want to destroy the entire world. Shirahoshi isn´t a fighter and when she gets scared and is afraid, she might just lose control over her powers which would make the seakings go crazy and into a full-blown rage. Blackbeard would not have any control over the seakings who would just run amok. this would be bad for someone who wants to rule the world (or parts of it) like Blackbeard and would be more suitable for someone like Imu to sink the world once and for all.

I'm figuring one section of the puzzle, will be Zunesha breaking down the barriers to release the waters as an attempt to push Blackbeard back. Now, if it's done because of just the Blackbeard pirates, or because they need to push back Blackbeard and the Sea Kings, I've no clue. The latter seems more dramatic, and it would also have a reason to bring Noah back into account, which would then bring in its own accounts about trying to move it, perhaps, a giant?

My money is on Pluton as it’s far closer to him than Fishman Island, and the nature of Shirahoshi having a will grants far less control over her being weaponizable. We’ve also spent a long time with the plot of specifically looking for and finding Pluton in the story, whereas Poseidon was more of and incidental finding while going through Fishman Island. Any pirate wants the greatest ship ever- just ask CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow.

I think Blackbeard is going for the empty throne. Between trying to get Hachinosu recognized as a WG kingdom and Devon copying Saturn's appearance, everything indicates that he's trying to inch his way towards Mariejois. Combine that with him having the inherited will of Rocks D. Xebec and the fact that his Yami Yami no Mi absorbs DF powers, and he seems like he's custom made to usurp Imu as King of the World and become the final boss of the final saga.

In the new SBS Oda says that the person who gave Luffy food would have to be really fast almost as fast as the speed of light. The wording does point more to Kizaru (as he is light itself) but Van Augur with his warp fruit is also really fast.

Honestly, when Robin asked Luffy if he wanted Pluton and he said no she should have told him that he pretty much has to take it or someone else will., Especially after Law crashed the reveal of its whereabouts that only Robin was invited to, now she knows that the Straw Hats aren't the only ones in the know. another possible explanation for why blackbeard never pursued the poneglyph at wano is because he might have already seen it when he was younger or maybe Oden told him the contents of the poneglyph. they were both on whitebeards crew and blackbeard did spend some time on wano with whitebeards crew when he was younger.
