Looks like a good recipe, by the way your Taira obachan, I use to see her at many Okinawan functions. My obachan's maiden name is Taira also. Enjoy your videos.

This really got the water works for me. I've been growing up around my Grandma and so many times have I seen her make these but never did make them with her. Now, she's bed ridden since she's almost 100 already. This has bought back some memories, I am definitely trying this and hope to pass your Grandma's recipe on to my kids & grandkids. I hope to make my Grandma proud learning this recipe too. Bless your heart. ❤

Just made grandma’s andagi recipe and you guys are right, da bestest!! I used to think I loved the dense dough of andagi….until I tasted grandma’s recipe. Gotta make sure to watch oil temperature as you fry. I burned a few cos da temperature on my gas stove is supa hot and only got hotter. But once I got da temp under control, was easy peasy. Dis for real going be our family’s go-to andagi recipe. I tried a few recipes and dis by far is my favorite. Mahalo for sharing your ohana’s special andagi recipe with us.

Yay! I'm so glad that you liked this recipe! It's sooo good right?? Getting the oil to the exact temperature can take a little bit of experience... but once you get it right, it's the best! Thank you for your comments!!! Appreciate you!
