Yes, it is a generational shit show! I survived it. Getting groped by my step-grandfather, then raped by my step-father. My mother knew and did nothing, other females not only in my family but the community knew and did nothing. I got married at 16 and moved 3000 miles away! My children and grandchildren were not subject to their abuse. I wish I could have been brave enough to sue them!
