6.7 germany is by far my favorite line up to run. 10.5 tiger, the 2H and the panther 2 with an arado and a fighter. Teams aren’t always the best but this lineup is amazing, i’ll take this over my top tier lineups all day

Personally I prefer 7.3 for Germany, you get fantastic lineup options like the Leopard 1, M48A2C, Spz BMP-1, Marder A1-, Kugelblitz, Arado C-3, 262 C1-A or A1/U4.

Teams not being the best is sometimes a blessing. I think it does well in an uptier so you get more points per kill. And your team performing poorly means more kills for you. Meaning more consistent nukes. Some times it's a total stomping though if the team is too bad.

I used to do similar; but over the last 4 or 5 years, since 6.7 can and does face a lot of modern APDS, APFSDS and HEAT slinging tanks, I pretty much only play 1.7 - 5.3, sometimes up to 6.3.

Well 6.0 is where the true problem of this entire game begins, the BR system is obsolete and needs a completely overhaul if not abolished, starting with modern tanks and ww2-1950 being separated like helicopters and planes they need there own MM and maps. The current system does not work…….

In regards to your engine question Justin, the standard Tiger 2 has a Maybach V12 Gasoline engine, the Sla uses a Simmering-Graz-Pauker V16 diesel engine developed by the Austrians.

In cqb t29 peaks it gets hit in the lower plate = dead , at range i take out its gun because it has gigantic muzzebrake , if it tires to side scrape i destroy its back sprocket and i have next round loaded before it turns towards me. Also tig2 has lower Br of 6.7 so i can seal club 5.7s for easy score, when i play t29 im almost always uptiered and all it takes is some random with heatfs that hits my left cheek to ammo rack me. I used to love t29/34/30 when their whole ammo was on the floor of the hull but since they moved the first stage ammo in the turret im almost always ones shotted when penned. In tig 2 if not by apds hitting ammo at the back of the turret or by big aphe i usually survive with at least with 2 crew members, and in my tig2 105 i survive with 3 sometimes because of one extra guy that almost never happened in my t29 anymore i always get ammoracked when penetrated

The Sla 16 specifically is my most used vehicle in the game. I truly love this beauty. My lineup is the Sla 16, Tiger 2 105, Panther 2 and Tiger 2 H. They really are just so good. I've had SEVERAL maybe 9 or 10 games where I've had 10+ kills just 1 life with the Sla 16. This tank will always bring happiness

The H.sla uses a porsche X20 diesel which was designed specifically so that it could just drop in with an overdrive gear (it revs less than the maybach v12). So what it effectively would've done is that it gives the tank a lot more torque (accelaration depends on both hp/ton and torque but WT dont care about torque) which would make it accel a lot harder and not send both the engine and the transmission to the moon because of the weight of the tank.

The T26E5 is a bully because it's like the only tank at 6.7 that can reliably bounce the long 88mm. Plays very similar to the 75mm Jumbo. But you can also get a shot into the cupola on the Tiger II (H) if you hit it just right. I've done it with the 76mm Jumbo a few times.

Difference between Tiger II sla16 and TT Tiger II engines is sla16 gets to its max power faster. It gets its 750 hp at lower rpm (2000) than TT with 700 hp at 3000 rpm. Thats why its mobility is better in game.

the standard Tiger II has a gasoline engine with 2 cylinder banks of 6 cylinders each, whereas the Graz Pauker Simmering SLA.16 is an air cooled Diesel engine with 4 cylinder banks of 4 cylinders each. instead of the tradtitional V or I orientation, this engine is X shaped. kinda makes me wish they had made at least about 100 of them, just so one or two of them would end up in a museum.

Question 1: I think separating SPHs into their own class with a proper artillery mechanic would be interesting, maybe make it a collaberative class with light tanks where it can lob shells at scouted targets if they are in range... however I worry that a mechanic like that will either be completely useless, or absolutely OP. Question 2: I value balance far more than historical accuracy, so as long as the BRs are set up properly, I don't mind seeing WW2 vehicles fight cold war vehicles

88 KT was always and still is the best. 105 has a niche for long range sniping but the Panther 2 is even better at that. I use it for brawling just because I like the sound and it feels nicer to drive. But the 88 is just objectively more lethal. The 105 doesn't offer enough to justify doubling your reload. 95% of what the 105 can pen the 88 can pen, 95% of what the 105 can one shot the 88 can one shot. Not worth it.

the regular tiger 2 has to go to 3000 rpm to get that 700 horse power while the sla.16 gets the 750 at 2000 rpm so more powerful engine and you get all the power sooner plus the extra turret armor

I have a slight obsession to spade every tank in every tree I work on. When I got to the Bkan and played a handful of games with it, I refused to spend the time to spade a "tank" that is made of paper, has almost no traverse, and has some of the worst depression issues in the game. Since then, I have managed to stresslessly skip some newer tanks that Gaijin introduced that are just not fun to play to spade (hi2u Skink). So, in the end, I hope they are planning some sort of in-match indirect fire through scouting/spotting for artillery vehicles like the Bkan and the G6.

There are arguments to be made for and against this idea but my main reasoning is that it would be the most fail-proof method of ensuring the WW2 players can enjoy their games without worrying about ATGMs and Helis and other rediculous crap in comparison to them. There's a lot of vehicles in the game that feel pointless to play anymore because there is a "better in every aspect" more modern vehicle sitting at the same or close to the same BR, and I feel like if the tech differences were seperated from each other then both sides would have potentially more fun

Its a very good premium and I enjoy it immensley. And it is indeed the best choice for a tier 4 german grinder ( jagdpanther maybe? ) I would only disagree if the 105 tiger was still available. but ofc its not. I have it and the only downside is that it reloads much slower. but its way faster. Like ridiculously fast considering its a 70ton tank. Has rangefinder. a bit better pen and muuuuch better chance to kill stuff if penned. And the armor and br is the same. its like a faster t29 with worse turret but better hull, a rangefinder that works up to 2.1km and at a lower br. its awesome. Was sad to see it go along with the panther II

I can admit that I am really horrible at this game, but I freaking love it. That said, the first two kills you got on the ground, even after replaying it I couldn't see them. As I get older, I get more blind to things that are nearly the same colors. I'm the guy you see in replays that drives right by you. looks t you, doesn't see you and keeps going. Literally - I did not see you. I'm like a T-Rex from Jurassic Park, or something, but with longer arms. PS: IMO, TDs and SPAA should get scouting ability. Maybe some only after they run out of ammo (Like the Swede Bkan) to keep things balanced. Dunno.

i think artillery gameplay is long overdue. question is how to implement it ? like WoT ? top down view ? not really gaijins style. they would have to invent a proper sight for arc shooting. and thats not that easy i think. there are a lot of vehicles they would have to rework. type 75 , Bkan etc.. regarding to the question going up against post war vehicles with a tiger II for example is just stupid. last time i played 6.7 i got in team with a leo 1. i mean come on. they need to draw a line at 6.7 exclude it from 7.3 matchmaking. or split the tech trees like they did with the ships.

See Justin, this is where I have to disagree with you. Every single one of those American players that decided to rush your Tiger II FROM THE FRONT literally made the worst decision, especially when most of them are slugging 76mm shells at a tank that laughs at that caliber of a gun. The Tiger is not a bully, it's the simple fact of people who play against it not only don't know how to deal with a Tiger, but they also fail to see the benefits of flanking a heavy tank like this. They had every opportunity to get around your flank and they chose to be stupid instead because they SCREAMED PANIC. Also, Germany doesn't suffer. It's those that play Germany and don't take the time to learn the vehicles and understand their strengths and weaknesses are what causes people to fail miserably while playing Germany. They have great lineups and kick butt vehicles. Don't sugarcoat people, just be honest with them. Players suck because they choose not to learn and improve their skill, simple as that. I'm not saying every player sucks, but the majority that scream "Overpowered" or "That vehicle should be nerfed" is a classic example of not learning your lineups/vehicles and not taking time to improve your skill. Warthunder does not have the map size for most artillery to become indirect fire. Also, WT should never have indirect artillery added as a playable vehicle. They should be glorified HE slingers with some crazy indirect shots on Thundershow

I don't really understand why you're calling it a PREMIUM Buff when the tank itself has literally has not changed in years. It is a great video don't get me wrong, but typically when someone says Buff it means that something has been changed with the one of the many features of the tank in a positive or beneficial way for its battle performance after release. Tanks that have a premium status already come with the added SL and RP bonuses so its not really a buff, more like a bonus for grinding a tech tree ingame. So not going to lie I felt kinda clickbaited lol.

Hello! I have the Sla two (as well as tech tree variants, not the 10.5), it's awesome, but I think heavy tanks in general could drop in BR. I have heard about the M8 greyhound taking out a königstiger (king tiger), but there's lots of evidence that it did not happen, no record of a king tiger being in the area in the period of time. Besides the fact that many war stories where exaggerated, so it could have been a panther or even a panzer 4 (I don't know if they where in that area, but simply put something else).

I despise the fact those HEAT slingers from post ww2 facing medium/heavy tanks designed for ww2. Especially the ones with high mobility. They have more or less every advantage over a ww2 tank. Sure they have no armor but they also negate the armor advantage of the heavy while being faster and usually having better reload. What's the point of playing a heavy tank if I'm gonna get lol-penned by a shitbox anyway? Before those shitboxes added ww2 ERA vehicles were more fun imo, nowadays I just ignore that they exist. I play 4.7-5.7 br range mostly if I'm not playing tier 6 or tier 7.

I hate playing against tanks from different design philosophies. The Cold War tanks, like the leopard 1 and IFVs shouldn't fight stuff designed for WW2.
