What happens if I have a SIP trunk on the primary UCM and the UCM becomes unavailable, will the secondary UCM take the sip trunk ..??

Yes, the secondary UCM will take over the SIP registration and call routing

HA is supported on UCM6300 models only. UCM6200 does not have the heartbeat port

What stability of these hardware? Previously we were getting lot of problem in UCM6208. We are not satisfied by Grandstreàm appliance

Thank you for watching the video! The Straight-through Ethernet cable has to be directly connected on the end of each UCM.

I'm told by several sources this can not be done. The HA setup info in grandstream manual also states the devices must be in the same building, connected by a straight through ethernet cable. The only think I can think of is there is a latency tolerance in the HA software. Seems to me if one could increase that tolerance then one could have the units in physically separate locations. Here in Florida we have hurricane concerns and would ideally like to have a UCM in two physically distinct locations and
