We recently changed from 3CX to Grandstream. We are very convinced of the Grandstream products. Are there any plans to integrate an OpenVPN Server in a Grandstream UCM, just like some ASUS Routers have them ?

Thank you for your trust in Grandstream products. We do have this feature planned in the near future, but we have the GWN70x2 series routers that support OpenVPN server for remote users.

Why call drop every 20 minutes for GrandStream WP820 but not for GXP2170 ??

If using Grandstream IP Phone as a SIP end point, it should be easier or simple to setup

Hi Oliver, The latest version of GDMS has made the IP phone configuration seamless now. Once you set the phone to use UCMRC URL, it will automatically provision the phone to change transport mode to TLS and NAT traversal to STUN.
