American here - with your van, you can come to the US! It would be too dangerous on your bike. Come in winter, it is too hot in the summer and leaving Nala in the van for only 5 minutes would be deadly. You have a wonderful family, Dean. Thank you for sharing so much with us.

Loved this video. Your Gran is such a good sport and calls bullshit when required!!! What a delight she is. I love watching Nala trot along as fast as everyone else, enjoying the walks and always sticking to the paths. You and your Gran are amazing together and she is going to miss you when you leave, but I don't think you'll be gone for long this time. The scenery and ambiance of the camping grounds and swimming areas are amazing. I wish Scotland had been on my agenda when I was able to travel. It is a beautiful country. Love to you all ❤❤

No, gran did enjoy most of it. She was just tired as probably not used to be carted around on long trips. Also, bear in mind Scots are known for being stoic. Not so expressive externally but warm to you Once you earn their trust.

Cherish your gran while you can. I longed for a gran from the age of 4 as all my friends went to visit their grandparents on Sundays after church, so I spent the rest of the day pestering mum who couldn't help with my many questions as her own grandparents had died before she was born too.

We used to have dinner with our maternal grandparents on Sindays. Great food. Mostly spent time with my granddad, as my grandmother could be a bit cruel. No filter, we didn't get along. Some days were sooo long and boring there (but I could have walked home 2 miles)
