Maybe it took so much years off his lifespan because he had to improve his Normal Ki to compete with Warriors who improved their Ki with God Ki lots. So if Granola got all his busted sacrificial wished power and stacked God Ki on top of it, he could probably be way stronger. But reversing Years of his Lifespan would make his base power weaker… But if he learns God Ki instead, maybe he can regain Power or improve better.

Granolah finding the Dragon Balls was convoluted but Piccolo getting a free power-up because Bulma just so happens to have collected them and not used them in Super Hero isn't? Pretty much after the initial adventure in Dragon Ball to find the dragon balls (and maybe the search for them on Namek), it has always been a convoluted plot convenience. I don't understand why people get so tight about Granolah and the Cerealian dragon balls specifically? If anything the fact that they exist in general and there are only two is more frustrating than Granolah happening to see a broadcast about finding one of them.

@@YaBoiDREX Aside from Pilaf, who now works for her btw, there has never been anyone shown with the technology to find the Dragonballs on Earth. They always steal them from someone who already collected them or steal the dragon radar 🙄 The only exceptions being the balls on New Namek and Cereal. It still is convenient for the plot, every time regardless of if there was some logic behind it or not. A team of scientists finding a bizarre strange orb still makes sense logically and is every bit as convenient as "Bulma always happens to have the Dragonballs on hand and never on cool down" 🙄

People complain about granolah wishing to be the strongest being dumb just because it isnt a repeat of every strong new character before but seem to not realize that is granolah’s character. He is hell bent of revenge and he doesnt care what or how he gets the strength to achieve it. He isnt a saiyan with pride and refuses to take a shortcut. The condition was a great condition. You shorten your lifespan for power. The 3 years to live condition was good, but I feel like it would have been more impactful if Granola had been given only a year to live, like 1 whole year, and that way it would feel more like, "Ok he needs to get this vengeance quickly, because months are going by." I feel like that would have been better.

What I liked most about the Granolah arc wasn't Granolah or his strength but actually Monaito and the reveal of other vagrant Namekians like the child of Katatsu that have make their own dragonballs off of Namek. While I'm not a fan of the Namekians just being a space-wandering race I'd like to imagine that several different Namekian ships escaped The Great Drought in different directions and that Planet Cereal and Earth are ones of several Namekian outposts scattered across Universe 7 that have all independently made their own dragonballs. New eternal Dragons like Torombo will always be a great plot device for future arcs, especially since he didn't die at the end but was just "sealed away" to allow him to return at any narrative point that the series sees fit, and I hope they will eventually lead into the reveal of Dragon God Zalama someday.

The Cerealian Dragon, Torombo, (however it is spelled), I always said this thing, even in all of the videos made about the Granola Arc on channels like Geekdom101, Unrealentgaming, Saiyan Scolar, and much more, that Monito, the Namekian that was in the Granola Arc on Planet Cereal, DID *NOT* CREATE the Crealian Dragon Balls, because in the flashback where the Saiyans were attacking Planet Cereal, the *pervious elder* GAVE the Cerealian Dragon Balls to Monito. Knowing this, we do not know how strong the previous elder and/or creator of the Cerealian Dragon Balls was, but we can speculate that he was a strong maker for Torombo to do what he did. Tell me what you all think.

I feel like you re-told the story in this manga but didn't really touch on "feats". Like dude... He moved at instant speeds. He created a clone with a fraction of his power which defeated post TOP Goku + Vegeta. Pressure points (you touched on), recovery never seems to be something touched on with DBZ characters which is weird... I know they don't have "super regeneration" but their ability to recover is insane... The TOP was a perfect example of that but similar here. DBZ characters are on another level. Just the instant speed movement alone is insane. Let's also not forget Gas flew across the Universe in seconds to get back to the planet.

Personally for me if I get done slime I’m getting my get back but this arc kind of highlights the end results of a bloodthirsty revenge. Garnolah did all that just to not get his revenge in the end which defeats the purpose of the wish but the consequences still remain. He’s got a shorten life span. I feel like the theme of this arc was to show how unhealthy it is to seek vengeance because of how far you’re willing to go and then you reflect on that and question if it’s really worth it or not. Garnolah in the end was able to see that it wasn’t worth it and that karma will eventually be the one get vengeance. Black Frieza put elic in pack and smoked it respectfully 😂

I honestly don't like how Granolah used the dragonballs to surpass the strength of Goku and Vegeta using the cerealian dragonballs, even if it comes at the cost of Granolah's lifespan. It just feels cheap. Not to mention that Granolah surpassed Goku in his mastered ultra instinct state, which has been shown to be on the level of gods of destruction, since mastered ultra instinct was able to beat Jiren, who himself was stronger than the god of destruction Belmond. So, it just felt meaningless for Toronbo to tell Granolah that he won't be able to surpass the gods, when Granolah ends up surpassing Goku and Vegeta. Granolah's wish just further breaks the already convoluted power scaling in dragonball super.

Honestly, Granolah's eyes are a unique opportunity to explore a more subtle type of transformations if they decided to extend his life and keep him around. They could have Cerealians acquire awakened forms exclusively from their eyes, basically emulating the Sharingan. Since the Evolved Left eye isnt a permanent change, that essentially functions as the base "Super Saiyan" form for Cerealians. The next logical step would be to add something else to the red eyes ro make them different, such as changing their color again, or my personal favorite idea, giving his eyes a reticle/crosshair (same thing) either adding the crosshair to the red of his eyes, basically copying the concept of the Sharigan verbatim, or having the red recede and turn into the crosshairs while the rest of his eyes are white.

It's probably quite clear that in the next story superhero arc Goku and Vegeta have trained more and they are saiyans so they will evolve to be stronger., but if only counted in the Granola and gas arc, will Granola still be stronger than Goku true U.i and maximum U.e, We know quite well that Granola is strong enough to defeat/knock out old gas, with his Sacrifice life for ultimate attack, even old gas scared of this attack, Goku and Vegeta are only strong enough to hold off old gas, Is it correct if we list them in order like this? Maybe Granolah could reappear one last time to help against Black Frieza, and have a crucial role by sacrificing himself and allowing Goku and Vegeta to get rid of that crazy lizard dictator forever. Something even better for Granolah, than killing Frieza as revenge for his personal past, is him making sure that Frieza's defeat won't cause any injustice and sufference to others in the future. Frieza just can't keep getting away with it

I think like this: Toronbo grants so many "hidden wishes" so that it can grant the main wish for the summoner, but there come a cost. For the wish to be the strongest, it costs life, at least. Granolah wish to be strongest in U7 at the time, the dragon implies that he can unlock all his potential (with no cost; like what Shenron did to Piccolo in Super hero movie) but it won't be enough for Granolah to be the strongest. When he insists, the dragon check U7 for the strongest. At that time we can assume they are Goku and Vegeta, they are currently equal. This time Toronbo can make Granolah be stronger than those two base on Cerealian potential + his life span (Granolah also a prodigy of his race); by time skip 150 years worth of training (fortunately, his life cost is enough). Toronbo can fiction the course of the training: train with those who currently train the strongest, mean Whis and Beerus train Goku and Vegeta, respectively. Proof is Granolah (150 years train with Beerus) can utilize Destruction to a higher degree than Vegeta (maybe train for less than 1 year). It makes sense. And of course, Granolah can access to true UI, but his mindset for vengeance only allow him to use Destruction (UI and Destrution are so different, it's hard to have both). Beside he can create clone, 1 among side skills of UI user (Goku summon an avatar in Moro arc, later on old Gas manifest avatar of his limb). Granolah did have an unbound form like UE of Vegeta - double red eye for Cerealian. Same with Gas, but Gas potential is higher so he sacrifice less life, but we don't know how much. Elec wish for Gas to be continuous the strongest by sapping his life each time there's someone stronger. Gas also can access to true UI, but his mindset won't allow. He have an unbound form - the control state of his race berserk form. Let take an example: if Yamcha made the same wish, he sacrifice 40 years for fictional training with Whis and Beerus (he now around 50, assume he can live for 90 years), I don't know how strong he will become, maybe like SS3 on brute force plus Destruction or UI ability. => Yamcha can't become stronger than Goku, Vegeta using the same wish, even if he can live for 500 years, for earthling potential.
