Cold calling is the perfect example of that... You tell me that Belfort does not teach that ? You have no interest in something until a salesmen calls you to offer the product. Before that you never knew it existed. That is what this phrase meant. I don't know why everyone understood it as something negative and that he is incompetent...
@VeinNetwork
@VeinNetwork 4 жыл бұрын
Nikola L. Totally agree with you. From what I’ve noticed Grant loves making bold statements that make him seem like a genius. The true meaning though, is perfectly logical. That the prospects level of interest might be currently none, but down the line in a few days he/she might develop one. Or the prospect might not be interested in that product, so you sell him/her something else. (I got fish). But I think this “no interest is a level of interest” or “i got fish” joke is mainly something that Belford and Kevin (meet kevin) have popularized. I’m sure both understand what Grant truly meant, but instead prefer continuing making fun, cause let’s be honest at first glance the phrase looks a bit “stupid” - despite it makes perfect sense.

Some truth to that. Every KZbinr makes ad revenue CPM based on the quality and amount of traffic they garner. I make money on Instagram and when I sell ads I can charge high prices because of the type of traffic my pages generate. Opportunities flock to those who can own that traffic flow.

Why even bother wasting time on the other 89% of customers anyways. That wouldn't much financial sense. If they cater to their best customers, it'll make more sense to add more first class seats rather than economy. Let's face it, most business these days people invest in because they want to not because they need to. Businesses recognize this and use this to their advantage. *Flying is a privilege not a right* and that can be said across the vast majority of businesses.

Yeah, they’ve sort of shied away from the theme of “impulsiveness” and just show up with a set list of questions that the producer comes up with. Guest answers question 1 for 5 minutes - abruptly interrupt with question 2. Guest has to say “hold on, let me finish my thought”

Steven it’s not about being forced. It’s about a strong expectation. And the more money you make the more you’re expected to donate. If he didn’t donate do you think his experience would be what it is?

Jordan Vassey I see a lot of mixed opinions on Scientology in this comment section. All I’m gonna say is if you seen educated or aware of what it is and the history of it then I would check it out. The guy who introduced Scientology wrote science FICTION books and made a killing off of Scientology lol. So there are a few flaws to Scientology to say the least
