Hi Orobella Studios... thank you and it's a pleasure. Glad others are finding the videos helpful. Where did you first hear out about the gas bottle stands? They are in stock again and available directly from the Burtsway Online Store 👉 www.burtsway.co.za/shop if you would like to place an order. Where about in SA are you? Those stands are great! Those clips definitely do give your fingers a proper workout. I've found the easiest way to get them on and off is to twist it. Use one pointing finger to push / pull on one side of the hook and the other hands pointing finger to push / pull on the open end... and kind of twist it off if that makes sense (maybe I should make a short video on this sometime). I takes a little extra time to tie all the poles together but it definitely helps. That said, I'm usually in a rush to setup and generally only tie the poles together on the front legs. So assemble the entire cross with the back legs basically in position and ready to be hooked into the grommets. Then lift the centre section with my left hand and push backwards so the back legs can't actually fall apart. At the same time holding the front right leg and pulling it down, hook it in then do the same for the left side leg. It's a bit tricky the first few times but I've done it so many times now its easy for me. You also have to be fairly strong to bend and shape the legs with one hand while controlling the entire frame with the other hand. Went down the rabbit hole of watching your camp setup videos 😂, think you mentioned it in the comments! Thanks for the effort in putting the videos together! Camp setups/ tips are always great as you get to add to the knowledge bank for various scenarios! We’ll be making some videos ourselves soon with various products we’ve found helpful around camp. Just need to get some time to get out in the bush again 😁

I think you are correct, I may have made reference to it in the comments or the description. Actually working on another tips and tricks video which will include the gas bottle stand... not sure when it will come out though. Was also planning on filming an updated 'camp setup walkthrough' video of all the changes during our most recent camping trip however on the planned day, a kids party ended up happening across from us which totally ruined any filming plans (looked like the kids had fun though so I guess that was a win). Nevertheless I'll have to do a complete setup again... top to bottom. Looking forward to seeing your videos. Watched a couple of the videos on your channel already... like the calm and collected presentation 👍 If you come down to PE, let me know... maybe we can meet up for a coffee or beer.

my tent is a beatnik it's a two person tent. I've no idea how to set up my tent.

Hi Anthony, it should be similar to setting up this canvass tent but a fair amount easier. I think your tent is a lightweight nylon tent with flexible fibreglass tent poles? Pull the tent out flat, clip the tent poles together (there should be two separate long poles made up of shorter pieces that clip together), slide each pole through the sleeves on the tent (at each corner of the tent), at the centre of the tent where the poles make a cross, tie the cross to the laces that are at the peak of the tent, raise the tent and clip the bottom of each tent pole over the small pin attached to each corner of the tent, peg down the guy ropes and you should be good to go. If you have a fly screen / rain cover, you may have to throw that over the top and tie / clip it down. sometimes these clip directly to the tent or are also pegged to the ground with guy ropes. Haha 😂😂 yip... we normally camp in sandy soft ground so we use the longer pegs, but into a hard well compacted area, there are a bit of a pain.
