The maxima has always been car to be messed with. Nissan had some issues with their cvts in earlier vehicles and has since made some changes to improve them. As long as you maintain the vehicle and change the cvt transmission fluid when required these cars can last a very long time.

Well said, and for some, it may be perceived as though the bigger 3.5L V6 can handle it more EFFICIENTLY and effectively than the other vehicles, as some claim.
