Yo thank you for doing a demo with the Tensor with some fucking gain! Everything is so clean in all the other demos, which I get, but I'm going to be using this more often with gain/distortion than not, so this is super useful. Thank you :)

You're welcome! And yeah, I also found it annoying how many demos for granular pedals just stay sparkly clean the whole way through. You should also check out my "Can the MOOD DOOM" video!

@@PedalExperiments Ooh I will check this out - however I don't wanna have buyer's remorse as I just ordered the Tensor hahaha.

Haha, I don't think you will. The Tensor is an incredible pedal. I'm sure you'll love it!

i always thought particle was the red panda comparable to mood. so much overlap and goodness! i love everything that goes through these, except guitar, ironically.
@PedalExperiments4 жыл бұрын
Mood has several things in common with both the Tensor and the Particle. It sits somewhere between them, imo. I'll do a Mood vs Particle video at some point, so watch this space!

Awesome! I can’t for your video manuals for these!

Thanks a lot! Not sure I'll do Video Manuals for these pedals, since there are already loads of video guides for each of them. We'll see, though!

Well...new 2 both, I'm sure both sides of the pedals have pros & cons! CB with the dipswitches may give more variables but RP cooler sounds ?! I'd need more digging,4sure !!!
@hoagyguitarmichael3 жыл бұрын
They both seem great, and neither is cheap. The Tensor is $100 less but the Mood does seem to do more.
@daemonelectricity2 жыл бұрын
I have both. The Tensor is easiest to get your head around. Mood has a more unique and chaotic sound. Tensor is mostly speed/retrigger based. It's funny because I don't like shimmer reverb at all, but I love the broken octave-up loopy things that both of these pedals do. It reminds me of Tomorrow Never Knows.

where’d you get those different color knobs from? That’s dope!

ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON! Red Panda pedals = A simple turn of any knob & something interesting happens (works well with line level & many non guitar inputs) Chase Bliss pedals = wow, I've had it a year & I still have to look at the manual ... to get much out of it. Releases limited edition pedal for way too much money then soon after makes a cheaper version. BOOM, FOR REAL!

@@PedalExperiments Hi! I didn't see the answer :) Hey, may be you can help.. i'm searching a pedal with a "jam" mode, which improvises bass and drums on-the-fly, and sounds like a dumb rehearsal interacting with the guitar dynamics, and maybe changes the tempo on-the-fly too. I think i saw that function on a Digitech Trio, and i think it was very silly but now i think it was awesome... but i can't find any video doing that demo, it only has a "learn" mode to compose a song (including jazz)... but nothing of jamming really. Imagine having a board with a Nux solid studio, a Metal zone, a Multistomp, a Miku, and that thing! haha
@PedalExperiments4 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, that's an interesting one... The most sophisticated drumming pedal I'm aware of, is the Beat Buddy. Although the Trio+ isn't too far behind! Not sure if either of them will do what you want, though? It's probably easier and cheaper to just find a real drummer! Ha ha!
@leandrocesarmaccan56554 жыл бұрын
@@PedalExperiments ajjaja yes yes, but i was thinking of doing blends of glitchy drum machines and a real drummer
@PedalExperiments4 жыл бұрын
Oooh, that sounds interesting! I'm guessing the only real way to do that would be with MIDI and maybe a multi-pad drum machine thing?
