@Cockroach, I don't want to argue with you, But yes, it did wreck a few years ago, it plowed into a truck that was stuck on the tracks, all they did was take a can of spray paint and painted it back, and she was ready to go again. :) And it will never be in a scrap yard, just to inform you. :)

@Jazzyhorn111 As a matter of fact, I do! I thank you for the suggestion! It sounds like something you should try. I have conducted my own inspection & determined that it would not fit me nor would the Staco controller be a proper device for me. But I hear told it works perfectly on you from your own testimony. Junk all the remaining steam locomotives! This wreck of pot metal would make great target practice with a 50mm caliber rifle loaded with 27 grain shot powder & depleted uranium rounds!

@Classicalguy12 Next time, next wreck, it is going to the scrapper's torch. That will be a great day!

@Jazzyhorn111 Why, thank you for the EXTREMELY FLATTERING compliment & the good wishes. I SINCERELY appreciate them! I am delighted you agree that the steam locomotives are junk & all of them should be junked. When I get another for cutting, I will let you have the honors of cutting the axles off. That is the coup de gras! Junk all the remaining steam locomotives!

My issue is that they can earn my crews plenty of $ when they are working cutting them apart for foundry melt. I want my crews working, earning, financially thriving. Cutting apart steam these machines are fun because the ground shudders when the big parts fall off like the steam chests. Junk the remaining steam locomotives! It is fun

What school issued your doctorates degree? What did I say about anyone's family member? You have me confused with someone else. What ever anyone thinks of me, I don't care. My crews in the scrap yard regard me highly for I have provided for their welfare. I pay them a paycheck & benefits for their skills & work. When some started, they would not scrap a steam locomotive because it represented something historical. Now, they understand. History belongs in the pages of a history book!

This thing is a junker! Send it to the scrap yard where it belonged 65 years ago. I will cut it up and put it into the smelter to use the materials to make new products.

Cockroach09, that piece of junk happens to be the oldest operating steam locomotive in Texas, of 1896 second to only its sister T&P 316 (TX state 201, the 2248 was TX State 200)

No oldest in the world

I think you have my name incorrect there, son! I don't know that you are medical qualified to say anything about the mental state of anyone. You may kill a scrapper, but there are 3 others to take his place. I don't know what you mean by, "steam will run over cockroach." Steam is nothing more than vaporized water, I don't think steam will inflict any injuries upon me. When funding dries up, and it is, this clunker is headed for the scrap yard for cutting apart! Junk the steam locomotive!
