Selling books has always been a part of my rutine. But never to this magnitude. And before it was just selling books for upgrading to another format. so more or less the number still stayed the same. Now I´m almost having more fun selling books than buying new once!

@@Joakimcomicscenter Well I'm glad you are enjoying it. I am getting to that point where I don't really have space for new shelves but I have sold every book that I really want to give up. Its making me reconsider my entire collection all over again haha.

Oh hey, you did it, noice. Hard agree on "collect what you love" mentality. It is so easy to get into the habit of hoarding and growing it all, but finding space for it all is just a pain and it doesn't even feel great, as well as being bad for your general finances.

You said something about having the three Harley Quinn new 52 Omnibuses but that you prefer the show. Is the Harley quinn show based off Harley’s new 52 run?

I don't have any of the harley quinn omnibus anymore. But the tv show was inspired of the material in it. And I did feel that reading it was as fun as hearing the fenomenal voice casting of all the characters and animation of the show.

Have you sold your Witchblade, Darkness, First Born/Broken Trinity hardcovers? Shame to see them gone as your previous videos on these brought me to your channel. Nice collection. I have started to reduce my collection and sell all my books that aren't an Omnibus, compendium, absolute. No more tpbs or standard HCs for me.

Collection is great. Only thing I'd change would be to sort your DC stuff by alphabet since Animal Man was near the end, putting the big events together and then chronological order for each character, but I get some people only want omni's with omni's and deluxe's with deluxe's.

The stories are okey in my opinion. I much more prefer modern (2000 and forward) published material. The stories are mature for the time when they published those issues. First appearance of Venom and all that being a stalker of spider-man whiles Mary-Jane deals with similar problems.

I sold my two omnibus volumes. I´ve taken the journey of reading Sandman once. But I didn´t see myself taking it again, in book-form. But I am very open for all the other medium-projects they have planned for the series.

It is really hyped up atm thanks to those deluxe editions. And I am not saying anything about the series itself. But as of now I am just not interested in the series. Attack on Titan has my full attention when it comes to manga and anime atm😄

hi, thank you. Yes these are big billy IKEA shelves with oxberg doors. Yes I think they are good. Yes they bow but I have owned these shelves in five plus years and filled them with omnis and never had one breaking on me. Thanks for checking out the video.

Question: what was the reasoning behind getting the omnibus edition of Preacher instead of the absolute? If I were to guess it would be that the billy shelf is hard to work with when it comes to sizes bigger than omnibus.

Points for you my good man. Yes the size was a deciding factor as well as the total number of books needed to complete the set. Yes I do know that the absolutes are the absloute best version out there. But sometimes I just rather have a more compact collected edition. I also noticed that I tend to concentrate better on the story when it is all collected witihin one or two books. for example if it´s 12-15 deluxe edition volumes I might take breaks and dwindle of to something else in between and take forever to come back and finnish reading the series.

@@Joakimcomicscenter This is the exact reason why I'm considering selling off my Absolute Sandman volumes, and get the Omnis instead. First of all; Absolute Death is nearly impossible to get, even after last years reprint. And most, if not all of that story is in the 3rd Omni. Billys are excellent for ohc's and tpb's but anything taller and you might aswell have bought the kallax

@@matsmagnussen I sold my omnibus of Sandman recently. For me it felt more like homework if would ever read it again. I could always go digital. But the omnibus itself are beautiful. I actually owned several black kallax before buying my billy shelves when the colelction outgrew them. Never going back now.

I know you’re trying to downsize your collection but please if you get a chance, add the Incal, Metabarons, and White Lama books from Humanoids. They are some of the best books I have ever read honestly, so if you’re looking for quality, check those out and see if they are something to add in your collection

The goal should not be to have a big collection like this. If it's not buimd up on books that you truly love. It is a hollow feeling to have books that you don't ever read or even have an interest in, but still picked up cause other people was hypeing it up. I won't preach anymore about it but I hope I could help you to scope with the collection idea in anyway.
