I finally read Ultimatum a few months ago, somehow it was worse than I thought it would be. The first volume of Archie is so good, I love Staples art in it.

I know you were kidding no one should be ashamed of that Manara book. 1) He is a genius. 2) His stories are great so you can pretend you bought it for the story just like these old people who pretend theyt buy PLayboy magazine for their great articles. How much of his work has been translated to english? Is his collaboration with Jodorowsky on The Borgias available to you guys? I would hope so.

Speaking of italian comic artists with a penchant for naked female characters you should check out Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri and his series called Druuna. It's actually science fiction but NSFW kind of SCi-FI. And i would definitely recommend his comics. Not sure that one is available in English. A lot of european comics are not translated because very often the american publishers ask them to edit some of their work...
