I just read the Manhunter Dlx Ed last night - so great! I loved seeing some of Walter Simonson's older artwork style, before it fully evolved into his iconic style as seen in Thor, X-Factor and Fantastic Four. And always enjoy an Archie Goodwin detective/spy story!

Love seeing your hauls Omar, I'm in a couple of comic collection groups and when I tried to show my haul when my omnis, epics, or complete collections come in I generally get no response or the comment those are just reprints followed by dot dot dot. But to be fair 90% of the collectors in there are singles collectors and flippers. So its always nice to see the excitement you have that matches mine when my own omnis, epics, or complete editions come in.

Batman/Dredd were in the UK released as separate magazine-sized editions and repackaged multiple times over the years. The version you have contains all four meetings between the two and should have Dredd/Lobo, assuming it’s the same as my HC edition (which it looks to be). Story is by Grant and Wagner, note, and the first and fourth meetings do tie into Dredd continuity, even if they don’t impact on it all that heavily. (None of the crossovers really do-even Aliens.)

Technically, Batman/Dredd starts somewhere around CF15/16, after Necropolis (CF14) and events depicted in the Young Death spin-off. Two of the other crossovers link somewhat into continuity as well, but that happens over years (primarily because Die Laughing took so long to do-it should have been out years earlier, but, well, Fabry). However, all of this is so slight that it doesn’t really matter. If you’re eager to dig into Dredd/Batman, just read it now. It won’t ruin your enjoyment of later Dredd stories. But if you don’t want any spoilers at all, read through Necropolis first.

I love DC is getting a lot of Legion of Superheroes in (kinda) order in HC. Before this, they got 2 other HC that come right before this, and they keep coming out with the omnibus editions (thankfully). I can't wait to get my hands on this book sometime soon. I've managed to get the Deluxe Editions of Y The Last Man, and I'm so happy, 'cause I really think that's the best way to read it. I know you got a lot on your plate and budget is tight as it is, but I was kinda hoping an overlook of the Justice Society HC that came out last month, but I'll try to take a look at it. Red Mass for Mars is cool, a neat deconstruction of superheroes, but it honestly would have been served by having a couple more issues. The ending feels a little compressed. Pax Romana is my favorite Hickman book, such an amazing concept. You’re lucky to be reading it for the first time!

I hope you enjoy the Batman/Judge Dredd Crossover, my Dude! It is a collection of 4 or 5 mini-series, if I remember correctly. It's been a minute since I've read my copy, but I think they are tied together pretty good, except for one that was delayed due to one of the artists not being able to finish painting in time. Without spoiling, iconic characters from both worlds play their part in these tales, and the collection left me wanting more. In fact, I may even upgrade to a hardcover, as there are hardcovers still floating around...

Legion of superheroes and the wonder woman books look fantastic. Might have to look into them. Its a shame about archie goodwin i really like his alien illustrated edition which was released when the first alien came out. it even has a few things left out of the film in it. I have the original edition and its one of my favourite things i have ever brought.

The whole New 52 The Flash run is collected in both tradepaperback and standard size hardcover. I got the hardcovers.

​@@NearMintCondition All titles in standard size but not all in HC. From the titles I got it looks like rougly 1/3 was first released in HC and later TP, and the other 2/3 only in TP. The HC titles are mostly the "big names". The format of each book from N52 was very consistent troughout. The only exception of a book that went from HC/TP to only TP is Green Lantern Corps and Green Lantern - New Guardians. Note that this is only based on the titles that I have on my shelf.

As far as comics and manga goes... here’s my haul Cardcaptor Sakura vol 1-7 hardcover edition, Wolverine omnibus 1, demon slayer vol 20, my Hero Academia vol 26, blood on the tracks vol 4, big damn sin city, faithless vol 2, chobits hardcover vol 3, Batman damned, blade the Immortal deluxe edition vol 2, sailor moon eternal edition vol 1-10 My Berserk deluxe edition vol 7 should be coming in the mail soon. Great haul as always Omar !!! I own The Flash New 52 Omnibus and it's amazing especially the artwork. The only book I picked up this month was Flash Facts DC Graphic Novel for Kids plus I picked up 3 books 2 from Star Wars: The High Republic and One from DC Comics I got in the mail today from Barnes and Noble !!! I got Star Wars: The High Republic Into The Dark , and A Test of Courage and A YA Graphic Novel House of EL: The Shadow Threat. Keep up the great work Omar with your channel and reviews !!!

I think you should have all (4?) Batman/Dredd stories in that edition. I need to get around to tracking down the albums I'm missing, only have Judgement on Gotham and The Ultimate Riddle at the moment. Bit of a light month for me besides the regular partworks, and the Star Trek box has been in transit for almost two weeks at this point so haven't had all of those land. This is the penultimate Trek delivery though so should be about a month out from having all 150 volumes that Eaglemoss put out, just a real shame that they ran out of steam without wrapping up the DC TOS volume 2 and annuals that have never been properly collected and the X-Men and Doctor Who crossovers, probably due to licensing with those. Everything else that's not in there is relatively recent IDW material that's fairly easily available. Batman Year Two was in the Eaglemoss DC this month and is working it's way to the top of the reading stack. Non partwork pickups were just the two books. Third Valerian hardcover I devoured in one sitting, some really strong stuff including the story the movie was adapted from. You mentioned Rusty Brown and I'm giving Chris Ware another look after reading Jimmy Corrigan in my early twenties and it not being something that really resonated with me at the time. I moved that on thinking I wasn't likely to reread it but have an eye out for another copy to re-evaluate it now. In the meanwhile I picked up a cheap copy of Building Stories. Haven't gotten into it yet but I want to take a weekend when I'm not working and go through all the component pieces in a relatively short timeframe. I think it was last month you were looking at the Papercutz Asterix? I know you don't have a lot of time to keep up with other channels but the translation comparison For The Love Of put up is worth a look. Really cemented my decision to go with the slightly older three in one "omnibus" paperbacks from Hachette, bigger page size and the classic UK translation plus nice and cheap on eBay UK.

This is a quality service man,don't stop,some great books there,including my favourite superhero team the legion of superheroes ,loved them since I was a kid,mister miracle,wonder woman, x men,manhunter,the goddamned are all books I would love to have,cant afford to buy more than a couple though as I'm unfit to work,would normally order some from the local library but covid has knackered that up as the library is still closed in lockdown,some of the ones I don't recognise look interesting too,love y the last man,have the whole run in trade paperback but would love to get the omnibus editions but it's not going to happen as I'd rather have some books I don't already have ! I find trade paperbacks are the cheapest way to get comics when you are stuck on a low budget !

Is Mister Miracle readable for newcomers? I don’t have a lot of DC stuff but enjoyed King’s Vision and also saw comparisons between Mister Miracle and Fraction’s Hawkeye in terms of approach. @@TheSabotuer96 I don’t believe it’s glued binding. At least my copy isn’t and I don’t think they had multiple printings. The only issue is the book is huge. Otherwise it reads well with little gutter loss

@@MYTHNL90 lol when in doubt.. Absolutes😉 Honestly though whatever format you think is best that you can afford is the way to go for that series IMO. I went with the omni because I’m too cheap for the absolutes, and I’m happy with it regardless! It’s just a heaaaaavy book lol. But the binding is great!

I will say, I watched a lot of these before the rest of your videos. I think you should include the review items in there. Especially if they are ones you would have boughten. I thought you weren't much of a Marvel fan from a lot of your haul videos. Maybe at the end and say these were reviews but these three I feel in love. Just a thought.

You know, I said I wouldn't, but I am **this** close to jumping on the wagon with those Blade of the Immortal Deluxe Editions. Out of the current Dark Horse manga, that looks to me most up my alley. I'm not big into supernatural/occult horror so I'll pass on Hellsing, and Berserk is too numerous and still not finished so I'm not ready to dive into that yet. But Blade of the Immortal has 10 volumes, and these are likely the best editions we'll ever get, so I think I'm getting them :D.
