Always look forward to your haul videos! I’ve been using goodreads to track my book purchases and wishlists but my collection is a fraction of what you have! Wonder Women Dead Earth was awesome! Love the twists and turns the story takes. That and Harleen are the best Black Label titles so far.

Great, varied haul. Like a fool, I’m still waiting for the Black Monday Murders HC, but I believe there was to be one more arc left before the story is finished. It was cruelly solicited before being stealth-canceled in advance of HoX/PoX. Border Town was a great book right before it got canceled due to the writer being skeevy, which is another unfortunate instance of an unfinished story. That said, I think you would really dig the premise and setup in those first couple issues.

When I bought the first Castle in the Stars book, I got it delivered to work. When it arrived, the entire art room was enamoured, and literally half the artists immediately jumped online to buy their own copies. It really is a gorgeous series.

Nice haul! I agree 100% about putting a note at the beggining of the older books and then publish the unedited version of the art. I often skip books that censure old art, hoping a more faithful version will be published later.

Have you considered Goodreads app to track your books? It allows you to scan books and shelf them. You can customize the shelves. I wouldn’t say its the best app, but it does the job. Thanks for hosting a giveway! Exicted for that

Hey Omar! I highly recommend ‘Good Reads’ to track your collection. It’s a great app, you can put your full collection in, mark what you’ve read and what you haven’t, make ‘shelves’ to organise them. It’s a really nice way to keep track of your books.

I was at the booth of Chris Sanders, creator of Lilo & Stitch, at the San Diego ComicCon several years ago and it struck me how much his drawings reminded me of T.S. Sullivant. While we were visiting the booth, I had mentioned the similarity to a friend who was with me, and a girl working in his booth heard me and said the Sullivant was a big inspiration of Sanders. If you compare the two, you’ll see the influence.

Funny old month, had some extra cash land for my first aider allowance at work but also had the washing machine motor shear off it's mounting points so no extra book budget. Partworks have been largely DC in what's arrived recently with the new Hachette collection launching and the Eaglemoss sets for mixed DC and Batman both coming with a quarterly special and the subscriber books that land every nine months (final halves of Gotham City Sirens, 52, Bruce Wayne Fugitive and the conclusion of War Games bound with War Crimes). The Batman books are now past the original 80 main series books so the spine art that's been coming out of order is complete, with the extension now coming as they go on the shelf since they've dropped the chronological arrangement. Picked up the second Valerian hardcover, trying to pace myself since books 6 and 7 seem near impossible to find. Down the rabbit hole with Cinebooks SF offerings though, just read all three albums of The Chimpanzee Complex and looking to start the longer running Aldebaran cycle shortly, although there are a couple of the earlier books out of print.

Omar - Glad to see you got Wonder Woman: Dead Earth. I picked up the single issues as they came out. The story hooked me that much. I'm also glad you didn't flip through the book more because there's major reveals in parts 3 & 4. I'm going to go broke but, I will be picking up: A Walk Through Hell and The Golden Age. I tried to get those A Castle in the Sky books off of Ebay but, lost those auctions.

I hear you about a company cancelling orders. IST did it to me at least 20 times last year, no hyperbole. I still use them but that level of service has me buying a lot more from CGN that I used to I'm going to buy The Golden Age just on the art. Thanks for the recommendation. I stopped buying books on eBay or Amazon third party sellers. Bunch of damaged books sold as near mint. I tend to go to 2nd and Charles, Ollie’s, books a million, Barnes and nearby LCS for hunting tpb. Learned my lesson a long time ago

The golden age has 2 volumes. But if you didn't know Cyril Pedrosa then I highly recommend Portugal and Three shadows which are in my opinion his best works.

Maddie has not read Dead Earth for ORNR, instead we read Something is Killing the Children with Jess. She did review it on Fangirlz with Reid and Kristan though. And I use libib, an app that I scan ISBN of books to keep track it tells you when you add a duplicate. Only downside is it doesn't recognize most DM covers.

Hey Omar, I've recently started using an app called CLZ Books to Catalog my Collection. It's pretty bad ass. Not only can you scroll both by cover or title. You can also SCAN the books by the bar code. I mean who wants to type out ever title? Anyways you asked and I delivered. Thanks again for all the amazing content.

I really enjoyed “The Black Monday Murders”. The artwork was fantastic, and a very intriguing protagonist. I really hope there is a volume 3 in the future. I also liked “A Walk Through Hell”, as it gave me an X-File vibe but with a splash of horror.

My next haul in a couple of weeks is Batman City of Bane 1,2 new tradepaperback ,Heroes in Crisis ,to complete my Tom King Batman collection. I really like his run and Knightfall 3 volumes paperback to add to my Batman collection in tradepaperbacks that's how I collect my Batman Comics. Than if Tynion's run takes to long for the paperbacks I will get the hardcover Their Dark Designs and Joker War

Hi, Omar!!! Another great video which makes me green with envy for not living there in the States and being able to pick up some of the Omnis that you guys have at an affordable price. Anyway, as you eloquently put...first world problems. I may be of help in terms of that app to keep track of your collection: I use Whakoom. It is both a website and a Spanish mobile app specifically created to manage your comic book collection which, so far, has never failed me in finding anything I buy in terms of comics in English. In fact, you can even create collections if they aren’t already in the system which, again, is very rare (I think that, in order to do so, you have to be a Pro user, which consists on a small annual fee). The only downside is that, obviously, it’s in Spanish, but hearing your perfect accent every time you have to say some Spanish name, I don’t think it will be a problem 😉 Let me know if you try it!!!

I use Stashmycomics.com to keep track of my collection - they are a little slow with updating when new editions come out, but it's free and definitely helps avoiding double-dips and such because they do show which single issues are collected in every TPB/HC. It's also great to catalog single issues as well.

Dark Ark was fantastic. I loved the Game of Throne-ish relationships. My one and only complaint is that they (spoilers) get off the boat a little too fast. I wanted more of the backstabbing relationships and the absolute crushing anxiety that it made you feel for the human characters. Real talk, when the Angels showed up I was sweating
