The judoka kept using the uchimata over and over again and failed. That's why the wrestler knew it and countered it. The wrestler capitalized the judokas mistake of using uchimata many times. If he did it again I'll counter it. Then boom . The wrestler threw judoka many times. And, the judoka itself didn't know how to shoot leg attack. Look at his first attempt of leg attack, bad posture, bad head position, didn't change his level but over reaching towards the leg

I dont think you can do a lot of Judo with a collar tie. You need a better grip to get any kind of throw. I think (and I'm no expert) that probably if you want to get big upper body throws you need one hand by the wrist and the other with a tight overhook/underhook (can get all the hip throws then especially uchi mata which wrestlers do this way). Or a body lock to make trips like kosoto gake. Collar tie maybe you can do sassae or de ashi barai or something really timing based but no big throws. Or can put the hand round the neck and grab the far side armpit for koshi guruma and osoto gari - those are the Judo throws I have seen work.

In catch wrestling, submission holds are used to dominate the opponent. In grappling, it makes no sense to compete only with Greco-Roman technique.

@@saito-house1999 actually I'm a judoka that's does MMA also,I use my judo in the cage and have never lost,but I will be fighting a Greco Roman wrestler in the cage very soon so I'm looking for the best way and information to shut him down or even out grapple him with my judo skills, Thanks

​@@pelejahosoba4032 maybe stop thinking like we're still in the 90's. Lot of judo people are doing this. It's not anymore style vs style, it's what is working vs what is not, for your style. The greco guy in the video is the perfect example of what a grappler should be, taking the best of each world
