In Windermere lake district Cumbria they have events competition swimming in the lake, people training for triathlons. Even have a celebrity competition

i live and work at the swan in Grasmere amazing place to live fantastic vid( it felt weird watching this vid when you got to the swan knowing i was in one of the rooms upstairs watching this lolol)

If you every go to Moffat, travel 30 minutes outside of Moffat to climb " greymares tail " mountain it has x3 tarns on the top

In the lake district Cumbria last year the new Tom cruise film was filmed in the lake district Cumbria, helicopters flying from Carlisle airport to the lakes

Stagecoach buses go all around Cumbria for £4.00 return, so you can hop on/ off the buses, great way to explore without trying to find & pay for parking

A lot of shops allow dogs in so both of you can go inside instead of one of you staying outside

In 2023 Cumbria Council raised £2.76 million from car parks. Most of it from Grasmere. But a beautiful village nevertheless. Take plenty of £1 coins, you will need them.
