Exactly. People like him live in their own bubble and assume everyone else can do what they can do, and that they just choose not to. Which is inherently classiest like Kurtis began to mention. The problem is that the majority lower income people simply don’t have the choice. It’s sad how because of the cadence that this man speaks, his followers agree without thinking critically.

@Iexapro
@Iexapro 3 жыл бұрын
@@rumademedoit I’m actually gonna recommend you research this since I see this misinformed point a lot online it has become a conspiracy theory. Sophia Stewart isn’t actually the creator of the Matrix. Her story is one full of holes that unfortunately doesn’t actually align with the truth of how the court cases and the development of the Matrix trilogy played out. She never won the cases because there was no proof her writings were sent around in the 80s. It’s true that Black artists have had their works stolen or even co-opted by nonblack people, however this isn’t the case with the Matrix. (source: The Billion Dollar Myth, Kemp Powers, LA Times)

As someone who grew up with a single mom who worked two jobs and was on welfare… you can’t just eat steak all the time lol. Sometimes you can and even then food stamps don’t cover that much. Then if you do end up getting a decent job that starts to cover bills, you will lose all benefits and your insurance if you go over a very small amount of money you’re legally allowed to make. It’s incredibly hard to escape poverty and at the same time there are so many people that have no idea what they’re talking about when they bash people on government funding and make them out to be lazy when realistically it’s so difficult to escape the loop. The dude is classist and has no idea what he’s saying lol.

Kurtis thank you so much for your comment about liquor stores being essential. It’s so wonderful to hear a public figure talk about addiction like it’s an illness instead of a personal failing, like so many people believe. I know it seems like the bare minimum but it means so much to some of us who struggle/love someone who struggles. Thank you thank you ❤️

Tik tok dude fails to realize not everyone has access to healthy foods or has the time and/or energy to prepare a meal. Ofc eating healthier is better, but it’s unfair to act like everyone has the luxury of being able to do that.

Everyone who has access to grocery stores has the ability to buy an apple or a bag of carrots and some hummus over processed crap that will only make you tired and hurt your digestive system, making your whole body and brain slower

@@Letthembelightpeaceonelove quite a sweeping statement you make, here. look up grocery store prices in hawaii or alaska. now for some anecdotes. my hometown is extremely small (population sub 15,000) and when i lived there, there were 2 grocery stores in town, both of them extremely small with minimal produce. for a lot of ingredients, we had to drive an hour both ways to the nearest walmart, and fortunately my family was able to do that but a lot of our neighbors weren't. when i became an adult, we had moved states by then and me and my sister lived on our own because our mother fucked off. we had no car, i worked federal minimum wage and she made about 11/hr. even in the middle of a huge city, the closest grocery store was a 3 mile walk and public transit was unreliable and we often didn't have the money for a ticket. if i didn't have a manager at my job who let me take home free food (taco bell) we wouldn't have eaten at all a lot of days. the idea that "everyone has access to a grocery store with cheap, healthy food" is simply not true. especially if you are living in poverty and/or a food desert. i implore you to have some empathy for others who are less fortunate than you.
@Letthembelightpeaceonelove
@Letthembelightpeaceonelove 2 жыл бұрын
@@endless_del If someone is living in Hawaii then they clearly can afford to buy rice and beans. I imagine that meat is A LOT more expensive than legumes in that case. I’m sorry for the struggles that you went through, but you just proved my point. You said how you did NOT have access to a grocery store. I was talking about only people who have money and access to grocery stores, not people who are broke and homeless. Of course they just need to do what they need to to survive if they’re desperate. BUT- the people who HAVE the option to buy produce or legumes which are incredibly cheap over animal products which not only harm the environment but your health and animals as well, should be doing better.

Do tattoo artists make a lot of money on average? The ones i know aren't rolling in dough but guess it depends on area
@cheymckenziee
@cheymckenziee 3 жыл бұрын
I think it’s too hard to say an average. Like you said the area matters a lot, I know a guy in Maine who charges $100 an hour but with his overhead he only just gets by, while I know an artist with the same rates and similar clientele but because her overhead is a lot less she lives more comfortably. One of those jobs that has too many factors to find much of a true average I think
