There are a lot of differences between a 100% grass-fed and finished steak and a conventionally-raised steak you would typically find at your grocer's meat counter.
• Fat color will be a yellow or off-white color in grass-fed beef due to high levels of beta-carotene.
• Grass-fed beef tends to be leaner than grain-fed
• Transparency - We know exactly what our cattle ate before hitting your plate. Conventionally-raised cattle are usually fed inexpensive cereal grains and/or corn, but we just don't know.
• Grass-fed beef has a much richer, beefy flavor than grain-fed beef.
