Had Kikuyu spreading through my Zoysia and bought some Monument off the website after seeing one of your vids. Worked a treat, left a bare patch but I'd been battling it for 3 seasons, worth it.

Awesome video as usual mate! Really appreciative of the help with paspalum! Funnily enough I have both the weed puller and Yates. Seems I just need to pull my finger out earlier in the season 😅

Great video! I’ve gone through a bottle of the glyphosate gel this summer already, wasn’t able to get prodiamine in a small (and inexpensive) bottle until now. Paspalum is such a pain, it’s easy to leave remnants of roots when pulling it.

would you ever consider using NZ Brown Top as an oversow instead of a rye?

Appreciate the advice man. ✌️ Peace

I’m just wondering I have kik and seem to have a rye grass growing through, but it also seemed to stop the kik invading into it?? I didn’t think that was possible, do I just paint the rye or is it doing something that will keep stopping the kik filling it in? I do my mums tall fescue and have kik invading into it, I’m hoping to use the round up gel after seeing this to hopefully rescue the TF amazing grass! Are there any herbicides that selectively take out the kik but leave the TF alone?

Great video thank you. I have couch starting to run in parts of of my tiftuf lawn. Will the Yates Zero Gel kill the entire piece of couch or what’s just above the surface? Many thanks, Mark

Gday, thanks for all your tips. In a few days I’ll be spending a while painting glyphosate 360 on some rogue runners… do you dilute as usual to paint or just use full strength?
@LawnTips11 ай бұрын
Can go full strength if you like. Either way will work well

Do ya'll not have MSMA? It's not as dangerous and is great for Dallis grass

Same family of chemical and just as dangerous registered as an S7 in Australia and not registered for use in the home lawn or garden

Why do you have the gloves on if your gonna pick your face with them after you used the glyphosate gel?
@LawnTips11 ай бұрын
Surely I didn’t pick it with the hand that had glyphosate. It would have been the other hand

Honestly if anyone has heaps of paspalum just get coochie hydro to do 2-3 sprays. They come every 3-4 weeks once it’s gone out a pre emergent down. $155 for 200sqm. Worth every cent because they also 6 different chemicals in the spray and doesn’t leave brown spots in the lawn. After the sprays go back to looking after it yourself and follow lawntips instructions.. it’s the hardest weed in aus to get rid of hands down.

You need to get a better edge between your cuts. It’s pretty shocking at the moment considering how much effort you’re putting in. Look at Augusta. That would be a good standard to work to. Pull your finger out lad. It’s not a free breakfast on you tube.
