There’s nothing better then any dead songs + us old hippies still love all of it nobody cares whose playing it now adays because the music itself will live on after we r all gone from this world to next or become earthbound as I told Jerry about + that’s what he did because he came to visit me many years after his passing but now he’s there helping Bobby with all that’s he planning to do with recording records because they sound so much better than u will ever know unless u get a record player + my old albums still play after all the years I’ve had them ! Unbelievable ! ❤️🐇🐰🌹☮️👻👽🪐🛸🚀🌹🤩🥳❤️‍🔥😘🥰😍

i love telling that story - about how after the show - as the traveling deadheads celebrated the very last night of the european tour - sans brent mydland - and halloween night at that - as thouands of deadheads spread back into every corner of the city - you could hear them everywhere yoy went - howling with vigor - the werewolves of london - which was the very last song the grateful dead played night - the last encore of the european tour - the last rabbit out of the hat - the magic in the air - after the show - deadheads holwing everywhere you went - howling with vigor - jerry had set them loose - the deadheads of london - now the werewolves of london - howling to each other - howling as if howling to the end of the world and howling to the end of time itself . . .

Me, too! A friend and I went, I think we skipped the other show, if I recall correctly. We were out of our minds and went back to the place we were staying, Beaver College (now Arcadia), a basically an all womens school, my buddy just happened to know one of the guys who went there. We walked in after the show, eyes as big as plates, and all of these women, in costumes watching Friday the 13th. it was difficult to hold it together! Good times!

25 years today. One of the best shows I've ever seen by any band. I saw all three nights commuting from a friends house in Tonbridge by car so I was sober every night. I live in Wales so this was an unusual weekend to say the least. The first night I took my great friend Kerry along. She was completely unfamiliar with the Dead but loved them. The audience was so great every night but a nightmare for the security guys trying to keep them in order. I still love everything about The Dead.

I am one of those Dead fans who saw them a lot in the 1970s and then for whatever stupid reason stopped going to the gigs in the '80s. I don't even remember why, any more. I love the 80s and 90s shows, I probably should have kept it up (derf). Anyway, I agree Matt R, the vibe WAS on or off before they even got on stage. No idea why I never thought of that before (again, derf). Sure saw it happen often enough. Thanks for posting, voodoonola.

Met band March 1971. Rhode Island Auditorium .Jerry who was sitting on the edge of the stage warming his fingers up. , It was a floor show no seats. So I headed to the stage to check out the bands gear and there he was. We smiled at each other and I asked if I could sit behind the amps. He stood up the show was about to start. He looked over at Ramrod ,nodded back at me and Ramrod pushed some equipment cases apart that they had blocking the stage and let me through. I went in and up onto the stage and went behind the amps and ran into Bear dropping liquid acid from a murine bottle onto the back of peoples hands and they licked it off. I stuck my hand out and he put 4 drops on the back of my hand and I licked off and got a smile and a thumbs up. I sat behind Pig for the entire show. At the end of the first set Jerry came over and handed me a big fat joint. We passed it between us until other people saw what we up to. There is more to this story but by the end show Bear had hooked me up with his acid dealer and I sold his goods with the money going to build his masterpiece The Wall Of Sound. I asked Bob Weir an other time why no one blinked with me being there and he said they all knew I was home. Jerry was a good man and completely changed my life for the better. ⚡️🖖🏽⚡️

To make a long story short... Went to London by train, without any tickets. Somehow managed to trade us some for all three shows (hope you had a good time with what we had to give in exchange ;) spent three nights tripping and dancing around. I enjoyed all 3 shows but this probably was the best. Watching it now I`d say it was better than the rocking Essen-show a week or so before. What else can I say? Caught a pneumonia hitchhiking my way back to germany, but hell, it was worth it!

The middle of three 1990 (last Dead UK) gigs - Halloween night - and the cameraman has kept it pretty well 95% on Jerry - and it works so well. I understand that Jerry had a cold during these gigs - and hence the voice was suffering - but I can't say that I noticed too much from my vantage point. But an excellent study of Garcia in action. I had never really come across Halloween US style before - but my goodness the circus was in town that night! Excellent capture of a night that I did not expect to see on film! Many thanks for the upload.

Saw all three nights. I was a Limey living in Montreal at the time with a load of Dead Heads. Was home visiting family and they were playing. All my English mates were into rave culture and didn't get it at all. I didn't care and went by myself all three nights. Even got 3rd row seats coz the Brits didn't understand what they were missing so getting tickets was easy. The weather was pretty cold but the dead heads loved London.

Saw all shows on this tour. It was classic being in the tube in London and running into tour head "elbows" whom I had seen since my initiation onto the bus at the Keystone Palo Alto. Sat with Billy and Weir in dressing rooms. I asked if they minded if I lit a J and they approvingly laughed about what had probably been done in that room. The night after the tour went to see Kitaro at RAH which was filled with the same crew from the tour. Kitaro was a great way to end the journey.....

My first and only Dead show as I was not able to get the funds to travel in those days. Loved every minute of it and have loved the Dead for more years than I care to think about. Blissful days.

this was/is a great show, you can tell the added need for Garcia to shine in these years, the previous fusion with the keys is just not there, its just the way it got to be. IT IS A GREAT SHOW

Thanks for posting, always enjoy hearing/seeing shows. And Mr or Ms. Voodoonola, you share some some great shows. Jerry's and Bob's voices were really off this night, but the music is always good.

Wow! I WAS A SUPER HEAD and had tickets to go to Europe for this tour our plan was head from Cali to Tucson spend all our money on weed take those pounds to Ohio while they were getting rid of them we had tickets for Stevie Ray Clapton and Buddy Guy at Alpine....only problem was we got all the weed and realized we didn't have enough money left between the two of us to get to Ohio so we hatched a plan to go to Ziggy Marley that night and sell weed and some other stuff on the lot make a couple hundred and head out the next morning....well that was a crappy plan no one bought anything...after the show we were confused leaving the parking lot how to get to our hotel and a cop was standing there directing traffic he told us and then said before you go pull over there I need to ask you some questions as he came walking up to the window he was saying in his radio I got a match on the guys in the blue van that people were saying we're selling marijuana before the show....long story longer we spent a week in the Pima County Jail before we got or'ed in court. But the judge said under no circumstances could we leave the county before our next court date a month away. When I was released I walked out into 110 degree heat and the first thing I saw was a lonely little newspaper stand displaying a copy of the paper in the window with the headline Guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughn dead after helicopter accident...point is not only did I not go on Europe Tour but it was extremely trying times and I never even listened to a show before now...this old head never knew the Dead ripped shit at Wembley on Halloween the venue that is the flagship for venues worldwide and the place Queen performed what I believe to be the greatest 20 minute set in rock n roll history....just another point in the loooong list of things that made the Dead incredible and unique in the music world....three nights at Wembley I'm sure standing room only with no hit record in the moment having last toured there 10 years earlier who else could pull that.....none but the Boyz.....thank you for helping me see the light once again and like your other commenters me tioned YOUR DAMN STRAIGHT I FUCKING MISS JERRY ☮️☮️☮️☮️

I was there. The set-list is wrong isn't it? Not the order but the break! After "Promised Land" you can hear Bobby saying ".....just a little bit ", as in "We'll be back in....." It seemed half the audience were American. I have been a Deadhead since 1970. This was the last time live.
