I didn't find out until after my Dad passed away in 98' or no, let's just say I didn't realize just how fortunate I was @ the time to have such cool parents who would pass their Love for Grateful Dead onto me. In doing so & exposing me to one of the most talented & loved group of musicians on the planet it enabled me to grow up loving what I really liked & not just clinging onto the norm's of Top 40 Radio. (Boring) My parent's encouraged me & my sister to always chase after our dreams & that it was okay to think outside of the box. That being different doesn't mean you're wrong or right, only different & there's certainly nothing wrong w/ that. They made it okay for me to enjoy thing's that were viewed by some as being taboo, for lack of a better word. Luckily for me I was able to see some show's w/ my Dad back in the early-mid 80's & I will always cherish those times & great memories. I know in my heart that if it were not for them being so open minded, I probably wouldn't have ever hopped on the Bus & woulda never gotten to see firsthand what this Band & it's huge following was truly all about & for that I'm eternally grateful & appreciative. Thanks Mom & Dad, you guy's Rock ! 👣 ***Also a huge Thank You to Justin K. & of course, Lolo... Scott⁷¹⁴🍋's

If there is any overall description of the Dead, given their fortuitous musical expression, it would be their "take-no-prisonera" openhearted Playfulness. This looks like a great project that Justin had the opportunity to film. I bet it's interesting for the participants to reflect on this time; and This time. Greatest respect to the Grateful Dead, for the experience and the ideas..

@@firstube why is that sad bro ?Would you rather everyone sit at home , while snobs like you tell us about how" you saw Jerry and we didn't" ? People can appreciate the music and be big fans of the Grateful Dead even if they haven't seen Jerry? The music lives on and if people who don't know anything about the Grateful Dead get shone the light then thats a beautiful thing! Whether they saw Jerry or not.The Grateful Dead changed my life and I didn't get to see Jerry but my family and older brothers did . I discovered the Grateful Dead later in life and the music touched my soul ! I'm happy that you saw Jerry, but chill out the music is for everyone and you should be happy someone else is carrying the torch while you sit at home and bitch and moan about these " posers" ??
