BFA was my first trippy Dead album that gave me a feel for the live shows besides the live albums. No tapes yet. I could've heard this kind of stuff for a few years but they went in another direction. Now that I think of it, BFA was somewhat a compilation of jams that had been going on years prior distilled into new material. That slow Franklin's is incredible, and while not one of my favs(I still like the song and play it on guitar)that rhythm is spot on. Not an easy thing to do. Bossa Nova rhythms are like that, where the slower the beat, the better. Thank you for sharing.

Getting into the dead in the late 2000s I was very surprised to hear the studio albums didn't even make an attempt to sound like "the grateful dead." When I heard blues for allah it made me wonder even more why these dudes didn't let loose more in the studio. Like why the 3 and 1/2 minute songs on every album?

The action potential of a neuron in a plasmatic open ended electrical universe… reminds me of the center of the Milky Way or the Andromeda galaxies. Yes - has a great repertoire showcasing the expansiveness of space and the progression of scientific research through the JWST. More than anything, I love Britannia and all the works therein. I literally shook Bob Hope’s hand in humility. Looked into his eye and saw super men. I 🌹. 🐢

For a moment I thought my youtube speed was set slow, as I love doing at times, and much to my surprise it was not, it was Franklins Tower slowly passing by in Santa's Sled full of stuffed toys with Playboy Bunnies and tie-dyed explosions of color reflected on the neck high snow drifts outside that I must again attack with shovel and sweat with the best music out over the external speakers, a xmass eve treat for the surrounding locals......
