When I was a little kid my mom played Kingston Trio records all the time. THis really brought a tear to my eye. My mom has passed on now and finding this was a really beautiful thing..

I was there! I helped the guy carry some of the gear onstage! For one hour, I could say I was a roadie for the Grateful Dead!

We will never see the likes of them again. It was a great time to be young and a Grateful Dead fan.

I love this stuff! More! More! When I moved to the Blue Ridge Mts of North Carolina in 1998 and jammed with the pickers, this came in real handy! I'd had enough of a taste to keep up, lol! Not bad for a Cali boy! This was the first song they played!

They didn't even say that Jerry would be there. We were just told "You never know just who might show up!" We heard later it was some kind of contractual problem that wouldn't allow them to use The Grateful Dead name.

We all sat on the floor. Where I was sitting, you could hear a pin drop in that room!

Yeah I have this recording and the crowd is rude as hell. Shouting and demanding. Shameful. Band is great though!
