So after a 92’ Las Vegas week, our driver crashed in the SUV on our way home. No casualties but we all f’ed up. My dad wrote a nice heart felt letter to the band. He received a letter from PR and a beautiful print with autographs.( Vince and Bruce) Years later I accidentally left it behind in a rental. A year later I came face to face with Jerry in a bar within a dream I was having. Man he was not happy with me. A few months later while on my bike in Boulder co and on mushrooms I went back to that house. I told the guy my story and left with the autographed print. This was two years after his death. Much respect for Jerry, here and there.

I’ve always loved the ska vibe on both songs. Jer bear sounds great - they were tight this whole show. It’s funny when Jerry messes up the lyrics - just carry on. Badass night and great video

I went to almost every show on the West Coast in 88-89 so I heard a lot of classic tapes from the 70's. Audio tapes, so we couldn't see her groovy hips, but I can't tell you how everyone was always complaining about how this or that perfect recording was ruined because Donna opened her mouth. Worse than Yoko, because I don't think she was trying to sound weird, and it just destroyed the subtlety of some of Jerry's finest licks. Poor Keith.

In 76 he started playing the TB500 with single coil pickups and added some effects to it in 77’ you can hear that in the Dancin from Ithica (disco was alive!) that was a great era, Jerry on top off his playing and the tone of that aluminum neck beast of TB!
