That's amazing. I never expected to see my old wagon on you tube. I sold that car in 2016 and now it's half way across the country! I added that front license plate bracket, a direct bolt on from an olds cutlass cierra, the temp gauge under the hood, the weight on the transmission tail shaft. It's nice to see they got the a/c working on it again. The original compressor blew a hole out the side of the housing when I charged it and I never replaced it because of all the other work I did to it. I hope the oils been changed on it by now 'cause that sure looks like the Quaker State oil filter I used to use. Great memories driving it including up to Lake George NY.

Interesting - this one has the rarely seen Squire Luxury trim interior which was basically Brougham level - seats and door cards. By 73 you could get the full on twin comfort seats with Squire Brougham option, but not yet in 72.

They were great. My father had the Chev Caprice equivalent, and I believe all those full size station wagons could take a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood with the tailgate closed. Fantastic!

Nice Car ! Nice walk down memory lane....as a kid I remember the trips to Ocean City Md in this car . I remember it being Such a big car indeed. I thought we were rich to have the only car in the neighborhood like this with the paneling lol. Now in my 60's I still remember when. Thanks for showing us this classic. that was not the standard boring vinyl interior. I have mixed emotions about this old model. We had a red/red with a blown 429 prob put out 400+HP - would pass most everything but gas stations. a real sleeper in the early 80s in our town. My dad regularly terrorized the passengers with his fast aggressive driving. The car was known for it's 'hover mode' engaging at speeds over 80~90mph which made for some real white knuckle experiences. The rear sideways facing jump seats were unusual for wagons in the day and I can personally attest they were not fun to ride in. I threw up a lot in/just outside that wagon in my childhood.
