Well, the original of course takes place on Halloween. But one of the main reasons they called it Halloween was because it was planned to be an anthology series. Every movie was sposed to be unrelated to each other, but Halloween holiday themed. Naturally the studio wanted another Michael movie, so an actual sequel got made. But the third went back to that original plan of an anthology. Of course, 4 and on they went back to Mikey. Haha you reminded me of a reference... "We both have Freddy Sweaters..." "It's okay mine isn't movie quality"

Nope, the first movie was gonna be called the babysitter murders. They changed it up to Halloween, since it took place on that night. Yes Carpenter wanted it to be an anthology series after the first movie, and wanted to come out EVERY halloween with a new movie not connected to any other Halloweens. He did that with part 3, but there was no Myers in it, when people expected him, it did good first weekend, but once word got out that he's not in it, it bombed and he never saw his vision through. Halloween 4's whole marketing is that Myers was back lol, they wanted to make sure people realized he's in part 4 so it would make money. Also carpenter didn't want another Michael Myers Halloween done. He said Myers story was over with part 1, there was no reason for sequels. He only did part two because he realized he needed funding from the studio if he wanted part 3 and others made.

Very smart Roommate! Her logic would end a Horror movie 5 minutes after the opening credits! As far as reboots and whatnot this was a better entry than the following 2 movies. Loved Seeing the kids with the 3 SILVER SHAMROCK Masks from Halloween 3: Season of the Witch! Plus in Laurie's room there's a hat above her bed which is the hat you see in her Bedroom in the Original 1978 Halloween!

If you watch Halloween Kills, watch until the end, Ghost (my favorite band) did a fantastic end credit song called Hunter's Moon for it. A better version (the album version) is available if you want to listen. 😊

It’s crazy to me how they actually were able to capture Michael. Like yeah, he should’ve gotten the death penalty tbh. But the fact he was caught and he didn’t bother to kill the people who captured him (in the moment). Like that’s wilddd to me, but hey, movie magic am I right lol. Great reaction btw!! ❤️🫶🏽

11:35 oh, you're one of those kind of people, "save the children!" 😂😂😂 See, I don't have that... empathy, for lack of a better word. I don't really care much for children, I find them - the vast majority - rather annoying, to be quite honest. Not that I want harm to come to the poor it, but it's life and an adult's life should be valued equally.
