That is exactly what happens when you keep driving through those puddles. I've seen it in the past. Eventually you are driving in the ditch to get around the mudhole.

Hi Ed. Some of the rocks are too big. Had to pick a few out by hand.

@@roosty6 we've gotten a few free loads that my son in law has brought from construction sites, got a bunch of loads of beautiful 3/4" rock, with 2" up to 6" rock in it.. not so good on the driveway.. but free!

Sounds like you're getting too much rain at the wrong time & we're getting nothing for a long time. Grass is brown & have to keep watering what's left in the garden !

Definitely bad timing for us. Almost no rain in July and now when we need it dry we keep getting showers. Grass is green for sure.

We were back on canola today again. Was down in the 8’s. Saying a chance of rain tonight or tomorrow morning again though so it might be short lived. Try and haul out a bit of wheat maybe if it rains tomorrow. Have about a 1000 bushels of this years wheat tying up a 4800 bu bin so that’s not good.

@roosty6 our canola was down to testing 7. Then, after a few showers, it was still only 9.4. It'll be wet now, though. The sky fell right in last night.

Theres no gravel near me. It all has to be trucked in. Costs a small fortune.

Seems any land here that has a creek running through it has gravel just below the surface. Gravel mining all over the place. Still cost me over 1100 to have my driveway done a few years ago. And its ready for another application. My gravel pit is too much sand and clay .
