Armenia politically played its cards very wrong..It stands as a wall between Turkish aspirations linking itself with its Turkic brothers across the Caspian. These nations, Russia, India, China and Iran are responsible for Armenias loss and if Armenia was to lose its Southern border, Turkey will become the major player in the East.

Additionally, USA and Nato rely on Turkey to control Russian aggression. Turkey is still fighting Russia and Syria and trying to create a no-go border zone with them. Nato meanwhile is looking the other way at any atrocities because anyone fighting Russia and Assad can do no wrong. It may not last, the final straw with Turkey will be when it acts against Cyprus and the Israeli plan to build a pipeline to Greece. Also, the USA is building a major airbase in a Greek Island and moving it's forces from Incirlik. When the nukes are moved from Incirlik to the Greek base, look for Erdogan to continue throwing a hissy fit and maybe befriending Russia.
