It will help lower the cost a bit for Japan & China if exported directly from a Canadian port, but if you export it from a US port the extra costs added by sending it thru a pipe down there, then liquifying it, shipping it, turn it into gas on the other side... no way will it be able to compete in the European or Indian markets against gas from the Middle East, which has the single lowest extraction costs in the world. Not to mention, of course, that Russia has a **massive** advantage in supplying gas to Europe, being cheaper even than gas from Qatar/UAE/Iran/Azerbaiyan due to being much closer and delivered thru pipes

Algeria is increasing production i think and sending to spain and Italy by pipeline. The pipeline from Azerbaidschan through turkey via balkan to Italy might send more gas. Not sure. It seems we can cope for this winter but until the winter 23/24 we need more input by LNG. Ports will be available but i am not sure about ships.
