What is the problem with a consenting adult opting for euthanasia? Most western nations have legalized abortions and the USA has capital punishment. In those cases the deceased did not even consent. So if a consenting adult wants to opt out at any time it should be legal. No medical approval should be required.

Many People in india without basic needs are still happy. Infact they dont have to worry about loosing anything.they work hard ​whole day,eod they spend time with their loved ones .even after hectic physical work they are still happy and smiling all the time. you didnt have their problems at all ,what right do you have to judge them , so how can you understand their pain. in todays world people dont have time to support them ,they feel useless hopeless themselves. euthansia is painless death .basically They dont have power to take in painful suicide thats the reason they ask this. simply this thought itself is like a drug addiction that they keep on, persistently request until they get approved. its that harsh that only courts have rights to decide and not us. sometimes the persistent desires for their death fortunately brings in death ,so this is not something to be implemented quickly. most best solution is, govt should provide supporting staff healing staff for these people. a selfish society who only concentrates on ai technology cant focus on these humans. a scratch stuff is moulded programmed to work as human but a human who lost senses will limbs are not getting any support to be learnt again from these people. this is tragic evolution of humans. a human must help human quickly not robots and waste time on ai for years
