Legendary showcases the competition between eight houses from the world of ballroom. Each house consists of five members, with each house battling for a chance to win $US100,000 and Legendary status. In July 2020, HBO Max renewed the series for a second season.
DaShaun Wesley plays the role of the Master of Ceremonies, abbreviated MC or emcee, and more specifically the host of Legendary. The main panel of judges include Jameela Jamil, Law Roach, Leiomy Maldonado, and Megan Thee Stallion.
