It's funny how repulsed y'all are by Gideon. I haven't been able to focus on his character ever since I saw his voice actor, which is this big tattooed biker looking man with a full beard 😂 Also fun fact, Tad Strange was voiced by Cecil Baldwin from the Welcome to Night Vale podcast. Before the episode aired a lot of people thought that the punny name + hyped VA would lead to Tad Strange being a creature similar to Bill Cipher... There's so much fanart of him as a purple square demon. This was probably the funniest lesson about lowering expectations I've ever seen.

I think what made the whole purple square demon thing really take off was the Bill Cipher AMA responding to a question about Tad Strange by calling him "a total square", which the fans naturally chose to interpret literally. XD
