Playing devils advocate here but would you really consider it "fan service"? I just think it was a funny moment in the authors eyes. Don't think his intentions were sexual. Also idk. I feel like we're just getting a taste and the current enemies are not the main course. The Signario sisters has got to be a level above them and I bet there's more at that level. As for Gray. This moment was alright to me. I wouldn't want him to be a swordsman but using a few skills here and there would be dope asl. I think him being useless/irrelevant is just a little bit exaggerated. His best moment imo is taking down the thunder legion and Hakunes fight was underrated but I see why. It's been a very long time since then.
