Tottenham Hotspur have signed midfielder Archie Gray from Leeds United for about £30m, with defender Joe Rodon moving in the opposite direction in a deal worth about £10m.
Gray has signed a contract until 2030 with Spurs, who Leeds said had "met a release clause that was triggered by the club’s failure to get promoted at the first attempt". The sale is believed to be enough to make the Elland Road club compliant with profit and sustainability rules, after their defeat in the Championship play-off final by Southampton cost them promotion and forced them to sell players.

I would like for all our fans to just support the team and get along. But it’s tricky when every step we take people just want to criticise our own club even with positive signings like this 🤷🏻 They just want big name, high cost players. But we need the right players. Big name or small name we need them to be committed to our club and push themselves here. Am confident we will get it done ⚪️👍

The Euros are still ongoing. A good start & instant fb coverage. Will be a great CDM in time. Let Lange cook as the club haven't put a foot wrong in transfer market since last year. Now about 11 players in first team squad 24 & under plus Academy players coming through. Young players don't carry the burden of expectations & past failures. A little sprinkle of fairydust with a couple more signings & we could be flying.

I’m an American Spurs fan, but I kind of chose Leeds for my second team when all of the Americans were on the team 2 seasons ago. Even though I don’t really watch Leeds anymore because all of the Americans are gone, I still tune into the Square Ball from time to time because those guys really run a good podcast.

What is premier league ready? Is he ready to play 3 promoted teams from his league and other bottom half teams..YES. is he ready to take on top 4 teams maybe not..but that doesn't mean you aren't premier league ready. We confuse the narrative and use this to stop kids progressing
