I always had curly hair like yours too and occasionally straightened it, but about maybe 3 years now my hair is growing out straighter. Im almost 47 but don’t have much gray yet, but I have PCOS and have noticed that aside from my hair shedding a lot, the strands of my hair seem thinner than they used to be… I think that’s why my hair doesn’t hold a curl anymore, I think the strands are too thin now and the weight of my hair pulls the thin strands straight because I have long hair like yours. That’s the only thing I can think of for why my hairs wavy/straight now. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Or maybe it’s just too many of years of wearing my hair in a bun 🤭😂.

Ah... I had wondered if it was because of my length... but I've always had really long hair, in fact longer than it is now and it still curled. Of course, I do wear my hair up in a bun all the time, so it could also be that. lol My hair is definitely thinner, but my gray strands are thicker individually. It's so interesting how our hair changes with time, huh? With my PCOS, I had so many issues with hair. I lost hair strands in my hair on my head, but was growing hair on my face. Sheesh... I swear, women have so many problems as we start to age. thank you so much for your comment and sharing about your journey. xo
