Two things that would help the helo situation is to give the option to put in a que when choppers aren't available and be able to cancel a call in if you jump on a bird or change your mind about a pickup/destination point. If you call in a chopper and the point is camped you should be able to divert to an alternate location.

7.62x39 Is like bbs for a reason, if you look they set the base ammo outside starting villages as subsonic, meaning it gets stopped by IIIa Armor that all NPC wear. The sub 7.62 ammo Is expensive and useless against Armor. They should add 7.62 fmj

I’ve seen two birds stuck in the air on the map once and they only were allowing two choppers out at a time due to the others just being stuck lol. Then one of them on another server I was in stuck mid air like that I saw it when I was flying by it lol. the whole waiting for a chopper ordeal is what’s breaking my want to even hop back on this game every time. I don’t want to keep fighting my own people over who can click call the chopper first for 20 min every time. They need to figure out a smoother way to streamline the rides and let choppers pick people up in some better way since everyone seems to be going all over the place anyway and especially if you’re trying to get back to your stuff or your squad it already takes 5 min to get to the furthest poi’s. it’s so annoying waiting and watching birds on the map fly around just to maybe be able to call another one before someone else for 5-15 min. yeah it also sucks seeing choppers fly their entire route when someone dies like that they should just immediately veer off to allow another to be called asap instead of going all the way out to pick nobody up. Watched my chopper do that I called it in, died, had to wait and watch it make its whole 5 min run to my lz where no other teammates were while i was sitting back at base just waiting to be able to wait to request another chopper.. surprised the last and final task to complete on the game isnt “successfully call in a chopper” some poor souls like myself would be stuck on that task for days lol it is by far the hardest task in the game. Lol

I noticed a lot of things for myself that I would like to see in this game. 1.This is pumping your soldier, he is not enduring, does not choke on any successful and unsuccessful case, you can only drive a couple of times. Perhaps this would have a very bad effect on the balance of pvp, but I would like to see a pump. 2.is the lack of cases where you can hide weapons, sell weapons 400 bucks, and buy exactly the same 3k. That is, when the entire cache is filled with backpacks to which there is a gun in each slot, and you still have a couple of cool guns that you brought, then you have to choose which ones to hide in place of another gun in your backpack, and which one to sell. Especially if you lose all the loot in pvp, or buy an expensive gun or take something special from your backpack in pvp. 3.balance of helicopter landings, sometimes it is impossible to land in a certain area because there are 4 rats sitting there and shooting from the blind spot at those who do not yet know about the ambush, so many times I died before I had time to land from the helicopter. It's so addictive and it's so real and you can go use the bathroom when you're flying knowing you'll have time before you land lol it's so cool waiting to drop. It's so unique and that small detail is what makes me keep coming back and for some reason I don't rage quit like every single other game lol. This is my go too for a long time.....love this game

Would be cool if there was a global faction effort to increase the home base size, which would add another chopper. Make it like in game items that are needed to be turned it based of each factions. Ammo food drink maybe more items even. Once finished it unlocks another heli. That would be super cool, would make it worth working with your faction.

You are great! I would love to see more weapons in the game. While there are plenty of attachments, the variety of weapons feels limited. It would be fantastic if you could introduce some unique weapons, like special types of snipers or RPGs, that can't be purchased but can be found in the game, similar to how it used to be in DMZ. This would make the game much more exciting. I really enjoy this game, but to keep it fun and engaging, we need more surprises. Adding unexpected elements will prevent the game from becoming boring over time. For instance, it would be great to have an in-game headset feature that allows players to toggle sound on and off. In real life, such headsets exist, and this would be especially useful for situations like being in a chopper, where the noise can be overwhelming and give you a headache. Instead of selling these headsets, you could hide them in special locations to make the game more thrilling. Overall, the game is impressive, and I can see the tremendous effort put into it, especially with its great graphics. I hope you consider my suggestions, and remember, the key to fun is surprise!

having the heli show where they go only solves half the issue. if youre at base camp and have randoms around going to the same place you are. thats great. but it doesnt solve extraction problem where heli will still get congested if solo players are calling in chopper at base camp non stop because they have to retrieve their body. youll still get stuck at whatever poi you are at. basically it works better from base camp to poi, doesnt work very well the other way around.

So if you could, please ask them if you could please implement a third weapon accessible to us other than your primary and your secondary being a pistol. I know we get one in our backpack, but that’s a little annoying to try and take it out to use if they could make it accessible when switching through our weapons to have like another, shotgun or sniper rifle in our disposal would be very helpful

Yes helis need some lovin, but i think they need to re-think the squad system first as they kinda go hand-in-hand. If you are in a squad and your on the ground at a location (close to your squad members) then kills and objectives (if same task is active) should count squad wide. Especially for those get X number of kills type tasks. I find myself avoiding squading up or going anywhere where my faction members are just so I can progress. Even now with the helis going to show us the to-from info it wont matter. If my task is to kill X number of AI at location C and I see a heli coming in to pick up a faction member (or three) that is going to the place I want to go why would I get on knowing I'm not going to be able to complete the task this time and will have to come back and do it again, wait for respawns or jump servers. Now if I could jump on and ask to squad up for this mission... Now back to helis, when they drop you off at a location they head off to the closest edge of the map then disapear. Why can't, if one is avaliable to call in, have it so that it spawns at the closest edge of the map to come and collect you instead of having it come from the area behind your base. Wait time would be a minute or two max, instead of 6-8 min (long trip, one side of the map to another), so instead of taking up a heli slot for 12-14 min it would be 8-10 min. Also the speed of the helis are slow as, guessing this might be a graphical/render limitation, they seem to average around 80 km/h where they should be doing 280 km/h. That would take a 8 km trip from 6min to under 2min. Tho not sure I would want to get on the side of a little bird going 280 km/h, as we dont seem to have harnesses :)

new here, i would like to see lmgs and i hope one day these guys will make it to where trucks can be taken as well, or being able to carry hurt people to the heli or load them in the truck. i told them they should have nasty ai on blackhawks with 240s and get rid of these little birds, or even put a 50 on these little birds and have a circle range they fire in when close to landing. maybe smoke deploys on the landing zone, maybe you can call a help in certain areas with smoke. whatever they can do i suppose. the other thing is they gotta put something out there to get the people back to this game, something for people to grind for aside from keys

My only issues with the heli changes is i normally run in a 4 man... whats to stop a random jumping on our heli and one of my squad or myself is left standing on the heli pad? Something needs to be put in place to avoid this otherwise i can see a lot of squad travel times getting doubled.

It is good that we are gonna get more improvements in patch 2 but I would not call them big at all... I understand there was a problem with hotfix, I understand performance side stuff require some time but it is been a month since patch 1. In this period we did not receive any content update for PvE or PvP, no guns, no attachments, no tasks, no PvP improvements, we have received woodland face mask and hat instead. I really hope devs are gonna drop more interesting patches before night cycle update near xx.10/11.2024.

I dont understand tbe chopper destination thing. If you click on the chopper in the main map, click on the chopper icon it tells you the destination of the chopper and who the passangers are.

currently when you click chopper on the map that is being called in to base of operation it shows you were it's landing, but not were it's heading after it picks up players. It shows final destination when it's in the air, but then if it's heading to the same LZ as you want it's too late to board it. This change will allow to see what's chopper destination is before it lands to pick up players from base of operation and you can join in if there is space, instead of calling extra one yourself to the same destination. Same with picking up players from LZ in the field, you will see if incoming heli will be going back to base or to some other LZ.

They need to do something about the movement, playing as a floating camera ruins the immersion. Increase the LOD when using sniper scopes, objects turn into clay at 3-400m on max 3d object settings, its gamebreaking unplayable.

I've always had an issue with unreal engine, every time I max out LOD distances or shadow distance it still has horrible pop in and looks bad at distance. I haven't tried GZW yet as I just bought it.

I hope they fix the AI soon. It's too inconsistent for me to evem bother playing. Was playing with a friend yesterday, went to Ban Pa. I shot one AI from about 150m, with a silenced weapon, the one next to it instantly turned, aimed and shot me. I heard one shot, my friend heard one shot. I was insta-dead with no less than 5 bullet holes Other times i can stand in the middle of the road with 3 AI shooting at me for several seconds without being hit As it is right now, it's not worth my time

As buggy as AI can be I finished all of my tasks PvPvE only at 120 hours and I’ve had a blast the whole time. Made some base homies along the way which to me is my favorite part of the game so far. Community has the vibes of WoW back in 05 and it’s refreshing to be part of a mostly toxicity free community

My new AMD gpu setup worked great for 2 days and then still bombed out trying the last taking stabs at a hotfix and can't get past the load in screen even going back to no beta mode now. Yeah that's great once the chopper has left base camp!!. This update gives you the destination of the chopper before it gets to base camp so you don't end up with all 4 choppers taking one dude each to the same place whilst everyone else waits for 10 minutes!

Would be nice to even attempt to use healing items lol i find myself always being immediately knocked down first hit or two I never have a chance to even heal. I’m losing all my healing items I keep bringing in every time because they don’t get touched lol. I’ve never even used several of the healing items at all. Blood bags. Haven’t used once. I’m at 100 or so hours in. I have bandaged and used tourniquets and they don’t really seem to bad. I’m giving the game a break though I’m tired of losing full kits to crashing and sitting there watching two choppers stuck In the air on the map allowing only two birds out at a time and constantly just hearing all birds are in the air like I don’t want to sit and wait and battle people over who can click call first. That’s been ruining it for me. Enemies turn and take you out way too fast too if you’re in concealment 100-200 yds away with a suppressor and you fire a single round, 10 guys shouldn’t immediately zone in on your position and take you out. That shit is really outrageous..

Yeah I have gotten better at surviving most gun fights to be able to heal up and finish the fight but another guy and I got steam rolled at Ban Pa where the AI started to move towards the LZ we came in at lol. And yes the suppressors should work better at concealing one’s position at least long enough to help you shoot and move to eventually take down the threat. The majority of us who play may also know suppressors aren’t Hollywood quite and that they just help with the muzzle flash and the distinctive “crack” that guns make so it’s a bit harder to locate the shooter.

Played it and it wasnt that great. Still had a bit of rubberbanding, Lost use of variable zoom in scopes, Ai was still OP, Choppers werent an issue because only a few people were playing. The heli info was a good addition. Ready or not has it so you ready up at base and 10sec splash screen to LZ. Thats what is needed or at least an option to skip heli ride all together. They need to nerf the Ai at certain locations. Right now its not fun to spend 5 mins loading up, 5 mins to fly to TB, get instakilled by an Ai 300m away by a light chest wound, than spend 5 mins loading up again, wait 4 mins for heli, 5mins flying back to TB only to die trying to retrieve your body. that 20+mins sitting around as a frequent flyer looking out the window. Sorry to feel this way but thats why player count has fallen.

Awesome video. However… seems to me like they’re not really addressing the main issues both patches 5.2 and 5.3 don’t really fix hardly anything. The AI is still hot garbage and one shot in you from 100 yards away. No scoping through three sets of bushes is still a problem. I get that they’re working on stuff but it kind of seems like they’re working on shit that doesn’t make any difference in the game. As annoying as the chopper rides are the AI is far far worse of a problem. Fix the goddamn AI.!!!!!
