Bran, Daenerys, & Jon. The dragon must have three heads. Fire & Ice must have a balance. Jon & Dany have ice and fire blood; Jon obviously from Lyanna, and Dany from Egg's wife who I believe was a Blackwood. Like Bloodraven's mother. I completely agree. Jon's dream means the same thing as dany's vision...its the 3 heads of the dragon. Dany is the stallion. Jon is the flower growing in the wall. And bran is the dragon casting a shadow (on time). Shadow=darkness. And bran is the dragon that took flight from the smoking tower. Bran fell from a tower wrecked by a fire in the past....the 3ER told him to fly when he fell. Bran took flight from the tower. Bran was always meant to be pushed from the tower...or fall on his own...bran was meant to fly. Bran shields Jon by telling him whats to come. Dany protects him by being his fiery sword/weapon. Jon is the one to unite ice and fire. The north hates the Targaryens....jon is the mediator. The song of ice and fire. I think the 3 dragons is about the war for the dawn. But AA...the summer that will never end...uniting the people...its about after the war. I think Rhaegar named him aegon cause he will do what aegon did...unite them...but not with death/fear but with life/trust.

Jamie L Where does it say that the 3 heads of the dragon must all be Targaryen? Sure they will have first men blood but not all Targaryen. Dany had a vision of the 3 heads. The 3d head takes flight from a tower and casts a shadow (on time). Bran was pushed off a tower and the 3ER told him to fly. Bran already took flight from a tower. And jon had a dream which grey area explains very well means exactly the same thing as dany's vision: bran is jons dark ice shield (warning his brother what danger is coming and protecting him) and dany his fiery weapon....the 3 heads of the dragon. A song of ice AND fire, not 3 fire against ice. Hell even mell sees arya in darkness (aka the long night) and she sees 3 eyes in that darkness (fighting with arya)...brown (jon), blue (dany) and green (bran).

Maaike R They don't necessarily have to be Targaryen but 5 books of GRRM associating dragons with Targaryens it just seems odd that in book 6, maybe 7 he will be like "Surprise! Bran, who I've only associated with wolf and raven is a Dragon or head of the dragon even though he's not Targaryen!" It just doesn't seem to flow with the themes of the world/story that's been built so far, to me.

Jamie L Yeah but bran isn't bran. Bran is the 3ER. Bloodraven himself was a Targaryen. I don't think this is about house names...its about having the right blood.... first men blood. And this story isn't just about Targaryens.

Interesting perspective, Gray. While this was playing I couldn't help but compare the weir wood net to James Cameron's heart tree in Avatar. (If you guys have discussed this before, sorry..) If the weir wood net is where the consciousness goes to reside then it is entirely possible. The 3 eyed raven *is* the weir wood net, and the weir wood net *is* the 3 eyed raven.

The “avatar” people in that movie even have the cat faces and 4 fingers like the COTF. I’ve been researching the comparisons.. if it bears fruit.. I’ll do a video on it

I really feel as though this Lightbringer dream will come to life so to speak in season 8 during the battle of Winterfell against the dead army. We may not actulaly see a burning sword, but I do think we will see why Jon was chosen to be the hero.

Starting to believe that Jon & Danny are either the two halves of the same answer OR different answers of their own, effective, but to different degrees. Jon would be happy just to push the Others back another 8000 years but Danny, given the chance, will obliterate them; hope they don't find how different their approaches are mid-fight, lol. In the books, the dreams are definitely trying to manipulate Jon & Danny, feels like they are being hyped differently about the same role in the Great War. I mean, is the 3 eyed raven wishing one of them will pick up the fight & the NK wants to pin them against each other? Do these people even think like this? Was there only a promising candidate last time and, tired of getting strange dreams, he just went with it, sword into his wife's chest and all? Nobody remembers that some of these dreams are about normal stuff (death of kings,etc) and other dreams are for when the Long Night comes again? No wonder people go mad or make horrible mistakes. Finding logic in magic... I tell ya, that way madness lies, lol. ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO.

You talked about balance. The last books title is "Fire and Ice": tells me the same thing. The key to balance isn't about Daenerys and her roots to fire or the Night King's roots to ice, it is about John Snow's roots to both. He is the one who will bring balance, because he will always do what is right, he will always tell the truth regardless of consequence. He is the promised prince. The promise of peace. I believe both Daenerys and the Night King are aware of this even if Daenerys only knows this on a subconscious level and that their participance in the up coming war is about their sacrifice vs any throne or victory.

You girl are pure honey and your vids SOLID GOLD..Great content..as always .As Jon has the dreams he fights the WW armored in black ice and uses Lightbringer ..Danny has also that dream that she is wearing Rhaegars black armor and fights Roberts armies riding Drogon to the battle of the Trident ..Jon and Danny it seems that they have very similar battle type dreams ..Also now i think that hints that Azor Ahai can also be two different people a male[Azor] and a female[Ahai]..Jon and Danny...with their Lightbringers..Jon with the sword that will receive from Mellisandras[nissa] heart and Danny with her Drogon[whose his egg in S1 and in book 1 was putted in the head of Drogo in his funeral and was the first dragon that got born]...Both will they wield their Lightbringers into the final war and Bran will be their shield [warged into the NK or into Viserion...and fights the NK and his dragon with his warging battle style skills]and will protect/see them during the battle[he also saw that wight hunt tragedy warging into Longclaw]..That could make absolute sense.

Interesting, I totally agree about Jon being the balance between Dany AA fire and the night king Ice. Jons half dead half alive , half stark half Targaryen. Truth be told we havent even seen the night king in the books yet, I believe the night king is far more powerful in the books , god like even. On the flip side of that coin, Dany is going to be super OP before she gets to westroes, learning all types of fire magic and shit, she will be able to control the flame like benerro. The balance between Dany and the night king will be the same, Jon going to have to figure out how to control the two opposing forces of ice and fire to coexist.

I thought it was a vision of her brother, Rhaegar (whose Jon's father) saying the dragon has 3 heads? Prophecies are tricky... Rhaegar was considered the last dragon too, so it would make sense that he isn't if he had a son too. Idk. Could be totally off base. It makes sense for Dany in ways too... Clearly Dany has 3 dragons but she can only control 1, Drogon... Otherwise maybe the NK has Targ blood? Jon Snow is the boy that Aemon is refering to, Aegon Targaryan is the Man that he must become. Jon is a Skincharger just like Varamyr Sixskins. Jon is afraid to embraces his power. Jon will find out who his Father was and who his Mother was. The show has to reveal this or what is the sense of having the show. Much like Bran was early in the books and show, Bran needed to embrace his power and become the 3 eyed Raven. Jon must awaken the Dragon inside him as well as the Wolf inside him. Then and only then will he defeat the Night King.

Light-bringer Dream could be sent from Bran in the future sending to Jon in the past. Telling him what will come in the Battle for Winterfell in the upcoming season. He wanted to prepare Jon - or have Jon be aware and prepare for the only fight that matters. Could 1000 hearts /1 beat be the army of the dead bound under influence of the Night King? Or the Wierwood Network - Each Godswood has a central weir wood tree called the Heart Tree. Then again it could be a symbol for both. R'lor wouldn't help Jon - but the Old Gods would. The original Azor Ahia could still be the Night King, and wants AA reborn to replace him. I think we will see the Dire Wolves in season 8 fighting alongside their humans. You are right - no one is all good or all evil - not in their beginning, it is the paths they choose that make them so. Melisandre is on the wrong side of history. (Lucifer means light bearer). Her Lord of Light is really the Lord of Darkness and Fire. She would see the Weirwoods as the great other. The villain is the hero of the other side. The Great Other is the only god - Death.

Firstly, Littlefinger would be so proud of you for not just interpreting the dreams, but questioning the motives of who may have influenced these dreams. You would be his favorite person... as long as you could manage to pull off being a redhead, which you could rock! I agree completely that AA is Dany. And I'm 99% sure that balance is key and that the Weirwoods, COTF, and maybe Bloodraven have the agenda as balance. While I don't think the NK or R'hollor are completely evil, I do see them both as seriously disrupting balance and one of the greatest balances-the right to die for all. That's when I sometimes think that the FM may also be more on the "good side" because I've begun to see resurrection in this story as a form of slavery, which I think is an important element of what GRRM is trying to convey. It's tough to fully evaluate dreams, prophesies and how the story will end with the magical elements/"religions" playing such a big part. We all think of LIFE as a good thing, and it is. But DEATH is just as natural as life. So that's why I view the motives, while not necessarily attempting to be evil, of the religions/magic that subvert death as wrong. You cover the Dragon Dreams is the Targaryens, and the Wolf Dreams of the Starks. Jon is Stark and Targ, so could he be having Dragon Wolf Dreams?? Meaning, could his dreams of the crypts and being armored in black ice with a flaming sword be Dragon Dreams intermixed with Wolf Dreams?? He could be seeing visions of the future (Kings of Winter rising from the crypts, for example) but also his dreams could be influenced by the Three Eyed Crow and Bran as well. So, maybe it’s BOTH Wolf and Dragon. Your thoughts??

Yes, there certainly is deep connecton between BR and JS. I think GRRM has read the bible - BR is like John the baptist, coming ahead of JC to prepare the way. Both pairs are also some kind of cousins. BR is also one part ice and one part fire, just like Jon, except he is a bastard, while Jon is not; Jon is The King as we already know.

Ok here goes what I think really happened when Jon sees Bran as a tree. Bran at this point is supposedly dead by Theon, so we’re somewhat lead to believe his spirit went to the trees. BUT later we learn he’s actually in the crypts, where it’s dark, and it smells of death. But what I really think happened is that this is Bran from ADWD, who was able to communicate with Jon because he was at that point in Ghost. As a person, he wouldn’t be able to hear or understand Bran, but since it’s through Ghost, he’s more open to the magic of the trees. That’s why he can smell death and gets anxious, because in that cave a lot of weird things are happening and there are a lot of dead Singers. Anyway, that’s what I interpreted, that it’s Bran from the future talking to Jon/Ghost.

Interesting and very good video, tho I disagree with your comments about Rhaegar and Melisandre. Rhaegar believe he was the key to the Prince who was promised, not the actual person, that is why he annulled his mariage and married Lyanna and Melisandre misinterpreted her visions, every time she asked about Azor Ahai the flames showed her "Snow" (not the charachter but in the book the word Snow is capitalized).

I’m with you on Bloodraven and Jon’s dreams. Jamie also had a flaming sword dream. Could that be Bloodraven’s doing as well? And I’m leery of these “prophecies”, as GRRM tells us to be. If it does, it will happen when and in the way it wants to. To the consternation of the promoters of the bigger prophecies, like the Red Priests with Azor Ahai.

I have so much trouble with Jon's wolf dream where Bran talks to him through the Weirwood. When I first read it I assumed that Jon was in Ghost the whole time, but upon re-reading (alot) a couple things just don't add up. First there's the howling and growling, Ghost is silent/mute. The other is the seemingly instantaneous teleportation from Weirwood Bran to over looking the Wildling army. These two inconsistencies lead me to believe that Jon actually dream warged 2 separate wolves. At first I thought the other wold was Summer, but just as you pointed out, it couldn't have been Summer because he was still south of the wall at Winterfell. I would love to hear what you think about this.

So few book channels compared to the amount of GOT channels, keep up the good work. Westeros is all but done and by the time the crows eye has had a go, there will be like a dozen people left on the whole continent. I feel this is for sure, that when spring comes all the houses will be gone and our beloved characters will be long dead legends. Westeros will start again, it will not be recognizable to us, there will be nothing left of what we love. A few poor folk will forage the land, build a hut that will grow into a keep and centuries later will have grown into a castle and a new house is born. The sweet in this bitter will be the new political system that grows as the population does. I feel certain that GRRM's bittersweet ending will be more bitter than sweet. For me personally, all I care about is that Winterfell and the Starks survive. If Winterfell falls to the dead then the rest of Westeros can fall for all I care.

I've watched maybe three or four of your segments and am pretty stoked to see how on point you are in some of them. Nice work! Question; if Melisandra is working with the Lord of Light and R'hllor and Jon is being led by the Old God's .. then why would Melisandra be trying to help bring Dany and Jon together? Is her purpose to seal the fate for The Night King and do you think she knows this purpose or is just being used as a pawn for R'hllor's purpose? The reason I ask it is seems like she doesn't quite get the prophesy correct (Stannis) or do you think the other Red Priestess is going to step up (since she's older than Melisandra). And what are your theories on the second Red Priestess? To me she showed her TRUE powers to Vary's and I think she is going to play a role in the coming season or am I off on that thought?

I think when it reads "1000 steps to one beating heart" or something to that effect--it is referencing to the Night King controlling the dead...once the NK is dead, the heart beat stops and the steps cease to move...just my 2 cents

I dont know why you think that dragons upset the balance of the summers and winters. They were unbalanced even before the Targaryens came to Westeros, even before the rise of the Valyria, winters and summers have always had a weird way of functioning in Westeros. Summers became shorter and winters became longer when dragons faded from the world, so thats not a balanced state either.

One way I thought of it way back when, is that the White Walkers and the Dragons are metaphors for Ice and Fire (the long summers vs. long winters) with each representing the embodiment of the contrasting elements. When the dragons ruled the skies, the summers were long and warm and the winters were short and light. When the White Walkers dominate the North the Winter is harsh and long and the summers scant. The other way to look at this is through LmL’s theory, pieced together from some of the old legends found throughout the books. Something hit the moon, dragons and fire rained down (or the “Hammer of the Waters”), the smoke, water vapor, and dust blocked out the sun and began the mini-ice-age known as the Long Night. The White Walkers arose like the World’s anti-bodies to restore the imbalances caused by the dragons, humanity and the CotF, but they were pushed back by various alliances before they could finish the job (the dragons still lived for one and too many trees felled). And now the Red Comet has returned (as calculated) for a possible rematch. My idea is similar to the CliffsNotes version of LmL’s minus the more mythological elements and would take too long for me to write. But, yeah, the dragons and WW’s are metaphorical representations for the abnormal seasonal shifts and extremes that will both need to be dealt with in order to restore the balance. *(edit)* It seems that it is believed by some of the Maesters, that it the seasons may have been regular and stable, sometime during the Dawn Age. And the was one resent long summer, without the Dragons, that just ended. Without looking it up (I’m probably off) it may have began around the time that the Red Comet was seen back when Rhaegar was born at the Tragedy of Summerhall.

I think what most people forget is that this story is inspired by the Robert Frost poem. What does the poem say? The world "ends" in ice or fire. These are ways to world stops. Frozen solid or burned to ashes. Both sides are wrong. The sounds of battle are repeatedly called a song within the text. You could very easily call it the battle or war of ice and fire. "We call ourselves those that sing the song of earth." There is a third way. The way of earth. Yes, other people are influencing the dreams or inventing them entirely. But there is a quieter voice that neither supports fire or ice. This is the true hero of the story.
