Jesus Christ she did not have all of those troops first of all she had a 100,00 dorkei correct she had 1:28 8,000 unsullied she did not make no allies with the other kingdoms she did not have that many me😅n and then after that after she fought the dead she had 40,00 dorkei and she had a 4000 unsullied I wish she had that many troops but that's more than the night King the night King at 100,000 she's literally just making up numbers is very annoying do not lie on the Targaryen name that's how many soldiers she then in esso she had 2000 second sons the unsullied and the second sons are already 10,000 that's 110,00 it will equal This

Honestly I have mixed feelings about Alicent in HotD versus Fire and Blood. I do like the depth that was added by making Rhaenyra and Alicent childhood friends, but I feel like it has stolen some of Alicent’s agency by making her a victim. In the books, Alicent is around 19, Rhaenyra is about 8 or 9, and Viserys is significantly younger, being only 27-28. She isn’t some unwilling pawn in her father’s game, but rather a cunning, ruthless, and intelligent woman who marries the king out of her own ambition. It feels like the show has somewhat woobified her, and it irks me to see cunning women made into hapless victims of circumstance. I feel like she would have been 5 times more compelling if they had kept her ambition.

13:40 - 14:15 the fuck? her being in the castle in king's landing and having handmaidens and lemon cakes means all her being prisoner, being taunted, beaten, scared for her life and alienated and simply traumatized means nothing because she should be happy she wasn't hungry? wow, that's so DUMB and offensive

Prince Doran Martell, the Sand Snakes and all of Dorne was way better in the books. In the TV series Martell is portrayed as not very smart and not strong at all. And the Sand Snakes are one dimension or single minded with their only intentions on killing Lannisters for revenge of the death of Elia and their Uncle so for no real good reason they kill Myrcella by poisoning her. In the books however the Sand Snakes are more "cunning" then the show portrays them and Martell is even smarter or more cunning then the Snakes. In order to bring Dorne back to the Seven Kingdoms (decades or centuries before the books and show- during the time when the seven kingdoms were separate and Targaryens ruled the kingdom) they are allowed to rule themselves autonomously from the rest of the Kingdom (to a certain extent) using their own laws. And under Dorne Laws the eldest child regardless of male or female is the rightful heir to the throne or next in line for succession. So under Dorne Law Myrcella is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne as the older child over Tommen. The Sand Snakes try to kidnap Myrcella to assert her claim to the throne. This would put Lannister against Lannister or try to divide the Lannister family and make Cersei choose a side. If for some odd reason Cersei backed down the Sand Snakes would get what they want and Myrcella would become queen then as a result their nephew (Martell's son) would become king since he was promised to wed Myrcella. However if Cersei refused it would divide her children and give the Sand Snakes an excuse to go to war with the Lannisters. Prince Martell however is more cunning then the Sand Snakes and stops the kidnapping of Myrcella from happening because he knows that Aegon Targaryen is still alive (who is also left out of the tv show). And Martell has a deal to marry his daughter to Aegon which would make his daughter the queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Unfortunately while stopping the kidnapping Myrcella is hit in the face with a battle axe and she ends up with a massive cut across her face that nearly kills her. She recovers and is still alive in the books but with a huge scar that Martell has to find a way of hiding from the Lannisters at least long enough for Aegon to overthrow Tommen and take the Iron Thrown (the books at around that point). All of this including Aegon Targaryen are all cut out of the TV show. Dorne and Martell play a much bigger rule in the politics of the Seven Kingdoms. And bringing the Targaryens back to the kingdom.

The child of the forest theory is a reach. Foreigners DO have long names, depending on where they are from. Maggy comes from Maegi, which is a title we also see applied to Mirri Maez Duur. A long name, with at least one letter combo unfamiliar to Westeros. There is also Jhalabar Xho, Quhuru Mo, Xhondo, Galazza Galare. These are all names a somewhat racist and xenophobic Cersei might consider too long and too strange to pronounce.

The comparison of Lancel's marriage to Amerei Frey to the Westerling proposal is slightly unfair. Part of it is, yes, the Freys are noble blood, whatever you (or the Lannisters) think of their behavior, and that counts for more, but it's also a measure of how far the Lannisters have fallen by the time of the marriage. Remember, Tywin does not think Walder Frey's second son, Emmon, is worthy of his sister, Genna. And then, they have to lower themselves to accept two more Freys because Tywin the great and powerful was getting his ass kicked around Westeros by Robb Stark & co and so they desperately needed the help of the Freys to save them from defeat. It's not that they scorn the Westerlings that much, but that they have fallen so low that they have to be generous to the despised Freys to retain their help. Also, Kevan's priorities are revealed by the marriage issue. Although he thinks well of Jeyne's father, and NO one thinks well of Gatehouse Ami's father (except maybe Ami herself), Kevan still makes the marriage, because of what Ami brings to the table - lands and a lordship. While Lancel is nominally given Castle Darry as a reward for his and Kevan's service, you can bet that if Kevan had refused to marry Lancel to a Frey Castle Darry would have gone to someone more amenable to Tywin's plans and Kevan & Lancel's rewards would have been less substantial or permanent. Furthermore, Ami's mother was a Darry herself, so Ami brings a lawful claim to the lands, after the Lannisters wiped out the men of the family. Gawen Westerling might have wed a woman of the purest blood in Westeros, but if she didn't come with lands and lordship to pass on to Kevan's grandchildren, he'd have STILL married Lancel to Gatehouse Ami, who does. I also would not characterize the Westerlings as fiercely loyal. Sybelle Spicer-Westerling extracts a heavy price from Tywin before she goes through with the plan. Basically, Sybelle is setting up her options for the best rewards. If Tywin isn't willing to meet her price, she will content herself with her grandchildren inheriting Winterfell, whatever comes of the war. Even if Robb is defeated, she can use her husband's status as bannerman to Casterly Rock to allow Jeyne's son by Robb to retain Winterfell as a loyal ally of the crown and the Lannisters, since he will be raised by the Westerlings, now that those no-good rebel Starks are all dead. On the other hand, Robb does not have the wherewithal to reward the Spicer family as Tywin does, by making her brother lord of a prestigious seat & lands. The things she gets, good marriages guaranteed for her daughters, a Lannister bride for her eldest son & husband's heir and a noble title, castle and lands for her brother, the presumptive current head of House Spicer, these things all contribute towards overcoming the prejudices of lords like Kevan. Her grandchildren will still be descended from that common merchant, but their fathers will be from better families, and in Reynald's case, kin to the Lannisters of Casterly Rock. So their own marriage prospects will be much better. Likewise, her brother, the new Lord Rolph will now have the prestige of his new title to ease his own children's transition into the nobility. We see this principle at work where even Cersei, no friend of the Starks, for whom Littlefinger has done an invaluable service and saved her children's lives and her son's throne, refuses to let him marry Sansa, because of the discrepancy in their birth rank. She does not love Sansa, but Sansa is the daughter of a Lord Paramount, whose ancestors were kings before the dragons, and Littlefinger is like a Spicer. Barely noble, grandson of an immigrant, no matter how much money he has. Simply not qualified to marry into a Great House. Later on, however, being named Lord of Harrenhal, suddenly makes him eligible to marry Lysa Arryn, daughter, widow and mother to Lords Paramount of the Riverlands and Vale of Arryn. Like Castamere, Harrenhal is a ruin and the title brings nothing material with it, except for bills. But the prestige of the honor opens doors to the highest levels of society that were previously closed. Ser Rolph's sons or daughters might not be marrying Lannisters or Tyrells, but Crakehalls and Pipers and Greenfields and Oakhearts are not out of the question. Basically, there are plenty of issues in the existing bargain that motivates Sybelle, I don't think we need to go looking for a very very old but at the same time, oddly specific prophecy. Also, what you are overlooking is the foreshadowed downfall of the Lannisters, especially the ones in close proximity to Riverrun. There is the old trope that when a plan is totally explained beforehand, that's when you know it going to go wrong, and when they don't explain the plan ahead of time, it's so you can watch it unfold as it succeeds. We saw that with Robb's plan against Jaime, and also how he laid out a great plan to retake Moat Cailin from the Ironborn, which of course, he never got to carry out because of the Red Wedding. Well, it's the same thing with Jaime's security precautions around Edmure. Jaime is going on and on about how he wants to be sure the troop escorting the Westerlings and Edmure to the West is large enough to be secure, and is reminding the commander to be sure to not let Edmure or Jeyne escape. And meanwhile, his cousin reported fires on the hills around the area, as if they were being watched. The Blackfish was smuggled out of the castle by Edmure, so he is at large, and a prominent member of the Brotherhood is emplaced in Riverrun. Lady Stoneheart's noose is tightening, the Freys are being winnowed down and the Lannister presence in the Riverlands grows ever weaker. Why, given all that has been said about the remarkable foresight of Maggy the Frog, would she advise her granddaughter to sign up with this sinking ship. If Sybelle Westerling is in the prologue to Winds of Winter, she's not making it out. MAYBE Jeyne's torn garments as a visible sign of her mourning for Robb MIGHT save her, but Lady Stoneheart is called Mother Merciless for a reason, and she's getting ready to spring her baby bro and massacre the people who dared to claim her ancestral home.

For me at least I feel like Sansa was only ever in it for power and towards the end was willing to fight her own family to get it she also used the deaths of thousands of northmen to justify her claim of queen in the north and her only real intention throughout the series was to be queen and I just can’t like a character who solely wants power like with Cersei she was doing it for power but the underlying reason was for family when Sansa basically abandoned her family to rule the north

Sam ended up being one of the most important characters in the whole thing! It was actually lucky he ended up studying the White Walkers; for everyone. Randall just was a blokey bloke who could not understand a not manly son. He was the first person to kill a White Walker in modern times after all!
