This song came out around the time my first child was born. I was working evenings while my wife worked primarily during the mornings and afternoons. One morning, shortly after she left for work, our little baby girl started bawling and wouldn't stop crying. I was so exhausted from a lack of sleep -- all I wanted was sleep -- that I momentarily thought of being violent to make her stop screaming... I instantly felt terrible... horrible... disgusted for having such a horrible thought... and was eventually able to soothe her back to sleep. Later that day as I drove to work, this song came on the radio and when the words, "I never meant to hurt you" came on, I started bawling little baby. This song will forever make me think of my daughter -- I love it every time I listen to it. Thank you Grayson....

True Leroy, I have the same. The more songs I listen to from when I was a kid, the more I want to go back to do it all over again and stay in that period. It is really saddening indeed how the world has turned out to be. I am thankfull I have experienced the eighties and nineties fully aware. Only sad I did not know back then what I know now. I am glad there are more people thinking his way. So I am not alone at this.

Took so long to find this song. No one ever knew what I was talking about. I was like 'you know the suitcase song' lol. Must of only been 9 or 10 years old when I heard this song but it's was a fav of mine.
