He is such a gentleman too, I seen him at the town Hall in Sydney Australia, He gave me his plectrum and the hand towel he had been using on stage. Just an all round excellent musician, singer and song writer. A true gentleman..that was in the very early 90's I still have the towel the pick got mixed up with my own but I still use that brand and I have 1 that is so rounded off its unusable now I believe it is the plectrum he gave me, won't swear it but seems like it..

In the vibrant atmosphere of the 80s, my mother didn't miss any opportunity to have fun. And then came that fateful night when I was conceived between stacks of paper and empty bottles by Robert Clay. I am the son of a blues legend, and that's truly something special. I can only imagine how deep the music runs through my veins. It's in my DNA to carry on this musical legacy and write my own story. I will do my best to live out my passion for the blues and inspire the world with my music.

I have a dear old friend whom I've known since we were 12, who, back in '86, told me about a new artist he'd gotten a tape of named Robert Cray......THIS album. I borrowed his tape & bootlegged it. Later bought it at a "record exchange" place, because it was that good. I've listened to Cray ever since. Thanks so much, RJS, my old friend!!!!

I'm Asian and grew up in France. Have always remembered that great song thanks to the radio... Yeah, even in France, we are lucky with the good music from the other side of the world. This Robert Cray's song has always led me to the following thought, when things are so good and sublime in life : "God does exist".

If you want to know the intro chord it's X31341. Verse is Cm, Eb, F, Eb, Bb, Cm(barred chords). Chorus is Ab, Bb, Cm. Change solo intro is Eb, Cm, Bb, Ab, G. Then back to Chorus. Hope this helps, such a cool song!!
